When I get up Kai says

*Alice can you stay I need to talk to you*

I carefully sit back in the chair

When everyone left the classroom

He goes and closes the door

*I tripped on the stairs* I say

He walks up to me

I look down at the ground and try to avoid his gaze

*when i had a show a man i denied before appeared and tore me down from the pole and I went to the ground* i say

When I look up kai looks angry

*are you okay?* he asks

*yeah just a lot of bruises and I sprained my ankle.. but it's ok* I say

*I'm going to fucking kill him* he says under his breath

*show me* he says

*huh?* I say

*show me the damage* he repeats

I get up from the chair and take off my shirt

And turns my back to kai and moves my hair to the side so he can see my back

*are you in pain?* he asks

*can I come over and help with Noah and the apartment?* he asks

*you're welcome to do that* I say and put on my shirt

*my class starts soon* I say and start walking towards the door

*meet me at my apartment after school* I say and walk out the door and to my class

When I've packed my stuff and I drive  to Noah's daycare

When I enter the daycare Noah sits and paints at a table with his friend Erik

When Noah sees me he lights up and gets off the chair and runs towards me

*mom* he says happily

*hello darling* I say and pick him up

*we have painted* says Noah

*yes I saw that you have loads of paint on you come we're going to wash you off* I say

We go to the bathroom and I wash the paint off Noah and take his drawings he has painted and go home

Kai is parked outside my apartment and we meet at my apartment and go inside

*Hey little man was it good at daycare today?* asks kai

*yes it was good we painted* replies Noa

*can I see it?* kai asks

*yes* Noah says and I give him his painting and he shows it to Kai

*wow I love it* says kai

Noah goes to put his painting in his room and Kai and I go into the living room

*I'm shopping and practicing for an exam so make yourself at home* I say

*I can go shopping if you want you can focus on your test. I would still shop for myself today too* says kai

*if you want that would be nice* I say

I walks up to kai and hugs him

He hugs me gently because of my back

                     **time skip**

I sit and practice my test on the sofa and Noah sits and looks at my phone when Kai comes home with food from the store

I get up from the sofa and go to Kai in the kitchen

*thank you so much so how much*    *how much should i swish you?* I ask

*you don't have to swish anything I offer
To pay because you pay everything else yourself* says kai and starts packing up the food

*I don't have a babysitter for Noah when I have to work* I say

*I know a very good babysitter she looked after me and my siblings when we were little* says Kai

*good do you have her number?* I ask

*yes I have it I'll give it to you after the food * replies kai
