Freedom. A word so simple, one wouldn't give it a second though. It's something we take for granted, everyday of our lives. We walk across these streets, safe from harm.
It's not that simple. Soldiers sacrificed there happiness, peace of mind and lives to give us this word. Today is the day we thank them for that, there sacrifice. They didn't even know us yet, strong and proud of there country, they went to battle and fought long and hard.
Freedom is us. Freedom is our country, Freedom is our lives.
Freedom is us. Freedom is Canada.
