"Why are we rushing?" Jennie asked the girls who had dragged her into the hallway.
"To get a table. We're already late thanks to Lisa's tie mishap." Jisoo quickly said as she continued her speed walk down the hallway, her hand firmly gripping Jennie's.
"There are always plenty of tables everyday." Jennie commented, keeping up with the trio.
"That's because we're on time everyday." Rosé explained before they finally reached the double-doored oak wood entrance of the dining hall.
Pushing it open, Jennie finally understood what they had meant when she saw that there were close to no tables open.
"Rosé and I will get a table, you both go for food first." Jisoo told Jennie and Lisa who nodded before queuing up in the lunch line.
"This school is always in a hurry." Jennie muttered to Lisa who chuckled, linking an arm with her.
"Surprising coming from someone who was holed up in Paris for years. Isn't everyone there always in a rush?" She asked, stepping closer to the lunch trays.
"Maybe it's because I went to a ballet academy, but no one was ever running to go to classes. And the teachers never cared too much. We were linked with the local schools and attended academic classes there before coming back for ballet training." Jennie answered, passing a tray to Lisa as the food finally came into view.
"Huh. Not what I expected. But talking about Paris, spill. Any secret lovers you're hiding?" She grinned, nudging her with her elbow as Jennie smiled, rolling her eyes.
"We didn't have time to date. I mean maybe we did, but we didn't. It was mainly casual hook-ups." She shrugged, finally reaching the start of the food line as she grabbed a bowl of salad for herself.
Schools in the Hamptons must've been built different, because their salad bowls were otherworldly.
"That's...a life. So Ms.Jennie Kim was a bit of a play girl? Femme fatale? Breaking hearts since..whenever you were born type of deal?" Lisa grinned wider.
Jennie grabbed a plate of Ravioli. "Ms.Jennie Kim wasn't breaking anyone's hearts. She politely and kindly turned people down."
"Yeah...same thing as breaking hearts." Lisa retorted with a pointed look before grabbing her plate of Grilled Chilean Sea Bass.
"Whatever you say. You tell me, anyone here you're interested in?" Jennie asked, moving along the line as she waited for the desert section to free up.
"Well, I'm in a bit of a no labels no commitment weird relationship thing? I don't know what it is, but we have our fun." Lisa shrugged, turning to Jennie.
"That's all that matters then. Who is it?" She asked as she grabbed two plates of the Dark chocolate Mousse and placed them on her and Lisa's plates.
"Jungkook." Lisa replied, nodding her head as the latter turned to the same direction.
