There was a very handsome boy sat behind me and that boy was very much into me as well. It was the best sort of torture; self-loving and not self-loathing. I could only dream what he was thinking, but I highly doubted that I'd be right regardless.
"What I'm about to say is. Very. Important. Listen well." Aizawa scowled, his eyes lingering on me for a moment before continuing, "November 2nd is your provisional license test. You need to make teams of six or seven before October 26th and then also let me know or you won't be allowed to partici- Kaminari, you can pick your group later! That brings me to my next point - your teams can only be of people in the class, so it'll end up being three teams, probably two sevens and a six. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Sensei." the class droned. That was a lot to take in in such a small space of time.
"Good. Now, we've wasted enough time as is. Let's get on with the lesson."
That sickening feeling of impending doom had abandoned me to freedom, and I could now focus brilliantly. I took my notes, answered the questions well.
"Tokoyami, why was All Might considered to be the perfect hero?" Aizawa Sensei asked, pointing to the whiteboard where he'd made a grid of various facts.
"It was because he never backed down, Sensei." I answered fluidly.
"Correct answer. Moving swiftly on..." Aizawa nodded.
I had that buzz which came with a right answer, but I didn't smile. Those were saved for my special someone.

Our shoulders brushed as we entered the lunch hall. It was calculated. Reassuring. I let out a little nose laugh, and Shoto did the same.
In the distance, Uraraka and Midoriya waved us over, Midoriya looking at Shoto specifically. Shoto, however, only looked absently back.
"Can you please tell Midoriya that I'll be over in a few minutes?" Shoto asked politely, with his expected level of energy.
"Of course. Why?" I followed up as we both slowly meandered through the lunch hall doors.
Shoto wrinkled his nose distastefully before mumbling, "Forgot to pack lunch."
I chuckled gravely, "Good luck with that."
I patted my boyfriend (my boyfriend! It still felt weird to say) on the back with a sturdy hand before strolling on over to where Midoriya and Uraraka were already nibbling away at their dishes.
"Hey, Tokoyami! How are you today?" Midoriya grinned. He bumped his elbow into a lunch box with all of his favourite heroes on it. Like many of the things which he did, it was oddly charming.
"I'm doing quite well, thank you. Shoto will be on the way shortly, by the way." I informed him, setting myself down.
"Eh?"
"You do know Todoroki, don't you?" I asked sarcastically.
"Ha, yeah! I just didn't expect you to call him Shoto, that's all." Midoriya laughed, before taking a bite of a rice ball, "Mmm, this is so good! Uraraka, do you want some?"
But Uraraka was engrossed in something else. She was holding a sheet and was reading through it again and again as if she were Taylor Swift reading the legal document which would sign her onto a new record company after what happened last time. It was something which Bakugo would never let us forget.
"Uraraka..?" Midoriya asked again, lightly tapping her on the shoulder.
"Hm? Oh, yeah, Tokoyami, sign here!" Uraraka nodded, handing me the piece of paper. I took it and read it through myself.
