Prompt: Readers favorite season is fall, so he convinces his boyfriend Bucky to go on a walk with him through the trees.

Bucky's POV:
As Bucky was walking towards the one place he felt he truly belonged, his mind began to wonder. He loved seeing the look on his beautiful boyfriend's face every time he comes home.

Home.

He loved that word ever since M/n came into his life. It brought a warm and fuzzy feeling to his chest. Bucky got to the front door and put the key into the lock. As soon as the door was opened he smelled the wonderful smell of peppermint and pumpkin spice. M/n was probably making another one of his special drinks. M/n was the owner of 'The Seasons of Coffee', where he made drinks and coffee blends that matched the season. That was actually how the two of them met.

Bucky would come in every day and order a large coffee with two sugars, no cream, and a shot of espresso. M/n had it memorized by Buck's third visit, he never forgot a face. After Bucky finally built up the courage to ask the other out, they started dating. M/n's only response at the time was "It took you long enough."

Bucky walked into the kitchen, seeing the man he loved putting something into the oven. The smaller man didn't notice his boyfriend creep up behind him until he slid his arms around his waist. M/n jumped as Bucky laughed.

"Asshole! You scared me!" M/n playfully hit the other man's chest as he turned in his embrace. He wrapped his arms around Bucky's neck. "Sorry doll, too good of an opportunity."

M/n rolled his eyes and brought Bucky into a kiss. The avenger sighed contently as they separated. "You taste like pumpkin spice." He stated, looking at his boyfriend knowingly. "Well, that makes sense, seeing as I've had about four lattes." The man in question commented, scratching the back of his neck. Bucky laughed loudly at the confession. "Hey, you should go for a walk with me on the trail. The leaves are all changing so it'll be pretty." Bucky pretended to contemplate before saying "I don't know why I wouldn't want to spend more time with my favorite man." M/n laughed, and no one could ever argue with Bucky, that was his favorite sound in the world.

"Oh? I didn't know Steve planned on stopping by." Both men chuckled at the h/c haired male's comment. "C'mon soldier, when we're done we'll have dinner. Then, you can have dessert." M/n winked at his partner as he walked out the door in his boots and coat. Bucky's eyes lit up at the comment. "Yes sir!" He called, eagerly following his boyfriend out the door.

The couple walked peacefully through the forest trail, M/n commenting on how beautiful the trees looked during the fall. "It's breathtaking." He whispered calmly, as if scared to break the gentle silence. "Yeah, it is." M/n looked at Bucky, rolling his eyes jokingly. "You're not even looking at the trees, Buck." Bucky shrugged and pulled M/n in closer by the hand.

"I'm looking at the only view I need." M/n smiled and shook his head fondly. "Smooth Barnes, real smooth." Bucky shrugged again, smiling at his partner in crime. The couple shared a kiss, and Bucky realized why home felt so different to him now.

Because it was wherever M/n was.
