“AHHHH!” Pink screams for the seventh time, “oh wait never mind guys it a bat.”

Foxjin rolls her eyes, DNAx follows suit. Everyone is going insane; the walk has dragged on from 20 minutes to 40 minutes with no sign of being anywhere near the mansion.

“I like blue,” Band says randomly.

“Shh,” Colder shushes them finally.

“No pink better!” Pink yells back at him.

“Oh my gosh do you guys ever stop?” Grave asks, “I was having a nice discussion,” he’s walking side by side with Steve. They do seem to be getting along now, for whatever reason. Finally Band and Pink quiet down, then the air changes, something seems to shift.

They must be close.

Colder feels a tingle run down his spine, unease, the air seems to shimmer.

“We’re here,” Grave murmurs as he steps forward through the spruce.

The group stops and stares up at the towering mansion, it has spruce and cobblestone walls, the roofs are topped with nether brick, and it has rickety stairs up to a big door.

“Ok,” Grave says with a shiver, “be ready.”

He didn't even need to say it, everyone has their weapons ready. Then there's a rustle, a Herobrine vessel steps out of the trees, then another.
They are surrounded, it takes only a moment for Colder to register any plans they made previously are broken now, the vessels are here but Herobrine isn't, he isn't yet.

“You're not allowed here,” one of the vessels says, Steve and Grave unsheathe their swords facing it.

“We want to speak to Herobrine,” Burrito says, and the second he says it the vessels charge.

Colder counts three before they are upon them, even though he has no prior experience of fighting these things he manages to block the first attack, and the next, the group is pressing closer battling together, he hasn't fought like this before.

“It takes- a lot to kill- one of-” he hears Grave trying to say over his strikes, then they are falling back, Colder manages to catch the vessels weapon and fling it away, the vessel doesn’t even seem to notice its gone, he holds out his hand and a new one spawns right before Colder cuts it clean off.
He stares in shock registering he’s never cut someone’s arm off before, the vessel is making a horrifying screaming sound.

“What did you-” Grave starts to say but an obsidian pillar spawns in front of him knocking him back flat on the ground, Colder turns back to the vessel as it charges but a dagger swoops right past his head, so close he feels the wind on his hood, it sinks into the vessel's face right between the eyes, an arrow follows it. The vessel falls back trying to get to the other ones.

How is it not dead yet!? Colder swings his sword using a potion to boost his jump, he comes down over the vessel's head and plunges his sword into its back. Finally it sinks down dead. But before Colder can grab his sword a pillar spawns and he jumps back his reflexes reacting, he calculates the moves and where everyone is then springs around pulling his sword out as more obsidian spawns barely missing plunging right through him.

“Fall back!” He hears Grave yell.

They are surrounded by the vessels now, there's no escape.

“I'm not an experiment!” Chris says again.

“Tell the truth, I see your wings and heard you talk about a link, are you his personal bodyguard?” Blue Demon hisses.
