"Ohh Dati! Earl kantahin mo na!" sabay pasa ni Ian ng mic Kay Brianne

Everything just feels bright today, though biglang nawala kanina si Brianne ng isang oras. In his defense, my kinuha lang daw siyang regalo and I kinda feel annoyed when I learned that the 'gift' he was holding is a box of condom, worse, bukas na. But since, it's his day I would let it slide at di siya sisipain.

*Eye-rolls*

He's exceptionally happy, all smiles and laughing. I know, we've been living under the same roof for 2 years na, and known each other since the 3rd grade but I have never seen him in this angle, figuratively.

It's like seeing him in a new light.

I might have lost my mind if I begin appreciating his new hairstyle, parted on the side with the smaller portion being slicked back then only a few strands remains just above his eyebrows, most of the hair got brushed to the opposite side going to the back.

I kinda see it now, why girls fall for him.

It's the first time that I appreciate his singing too, all the smooth renditions and mga pakulot-kulot niya ng boses. Parang ngayon ko lang napansin that he has this deep, intimate, warm and mellifluous voice.

Probably because of the thing called adolescence. Binata na talaga best friend ko, di na pumipiyok, pwede na din makulong hahahaha.

"🎶Ngunit 'di ang patingin kagaya pa rin ng dararada-dati" he looked at me while singing those lines and our eyes met then the side of his lips begun to lift giving me a smirk while still singing

and I suddenly felt my heart throbbing

He shrugged and bumalik na sa seat niya, I cup my cheeks trying to cool myself down.

My heart repeat that erratic beating again!

"I'll just go outside and catch some fresh air" paalam ko sa gang at dali-daling lumabas

I'm trying to normalize my breathing and heartbeat by tapping my chest and expelling air through my mouth.
