INT - My bedroom (Night)

"I rush through my bedroom door, throwing the plastic bag with the three blue discs onto my bed as I immediately scramble through my junk drawer, eventually finding an old cell-phone. I turn it on and toss it onto my bed, grabbing my house phone to call my cellular provider"

Teleworker

Hello? This is Alissa with Sprint. May I ask who's calling?

Me

(Dumping the plastic bag onto the bed and picking up one of the discs) Yes, my name is Shari Harris.

Alissa

Hello, Mister Harris. How may I be of assistance to you today?

Me

(Sticking the disc into my PS4) Yes, I'd like to activate a cell phone.

Alissa

And would that be for the number ending in 1844 or would you like to add a line?

Me

(Watching my TV roar to life as my PS4 turns on) Uh, for the phone number ending in 1844.

Alissa

Would you mind reading off the IMEI number for me please sir?

"I stare at my TV in disbelief as my PS4 had installed Storm 4 from the disc instantaneously"

Me

What the fuck is that?

Alissa

Oh, I'm sorry sir! You can find the IMEI number in the settings app of your device.

Me

(Shakes myself back into focus) Right, right.

"I scramble for my phone, opening the setting app and reading her off the IMEI number as I tried to open the game on my PS4. A large white screen blows up on my TV, small black wording in the middle. I get closer to the television to read the message: This disc cannot be played until the inauguration of the Storm Wars: Coming December 31st 2020"

Me

...The Storm Wars?

Alissa

Is that your password sir? The Storm Wars? Is that all one word?

Me

(Shakes my head) No, no. I apologize. My password is Bjergsenfanboy2020.

Alissa

Okay, give me a second sir. I am activating your device now. I will put you on a brief hold"

"I uninstall the game on my PS4 and Sprint's hold music blares through my house phone's speakers. I eject the disc and slam another one of the discs I found into my PS4 instead. It once again installed the game instantly and came up with the same message on screen as the first one. I close the game, uninstalling it and ejecting that disc. I search through my junk drawer, finding my original copy of Storm 4. I inspect it, holding it side-by-side with the disc I had gotten from the old woman. There was no mistaking it, her discs had a magical property about them that mines did not. I stick it into my PS4, waiting patiently for it to install. After five minutes I was able to open the game"

Alissa

Hello, Mister Harris? We have finished activating your cell phone.
