The anniversary

*You had started dating Mattheo around 2 years ago and today was your anniversary*

Y/n's POV -

8:45am -

'MATTHEOOO' I called out as I ran towards him and jumped into his arms as he walked over to me. He just gives me a confused look and stares blankly at me. Did he forget our anniversary? Whatever... he must have just planned to surprise me, yeah that was it. I hand him the new watch he's been wanting for a while and a letter that I wrote for him. He just accepts the watch and throws the letter in the bin? As he starts to walk away I feel the tears welling up in my eyes and I pull out the envelope from the bin. 'Mattheo?' I called out to him. 'Did you forget it was our anniversary?' 'Oh shit' He mumbles as he turns towards me. 'No of course not y/n i have something planned for you later I'll meet you at 8 on the astronomy tower'. He says as he starts to walk away. Of course he planned something for me. I'm so stupid I must have been overthinking again. I head back to my room to start getting ready for classes and change into my school uniform. As I leave my dorm I see Astoria. 'ASTORIAAAA' i shout as i walk over to her. She turns to look at me and then just suddenly turns and tries to leave? What's up with her? I run after her and bump into Draco. Draco just curses and then looks at me disgustedly. Well at least someone is acting normal? He stares down at me and then starts shouting at me for no reason. 'You worthless, stupid bitchyou ruined my new shirt why are you even here just go die.' I ignore him (as usual) and walk away to my first class; Defense against the dark arts.

6:20pm -

The day goes by really fast and soon I'm back in my room getting ready for Mattheo. I shower and get into my clothes. I'm wearing a short black dress that Mattheo got me a few months ago. The dress's material is velvet. The dress has got a slit on the side and the back is a lace-up corset. As it's winter, freezing and the dress has no sleeves; I put on a long black coat and some knee-high black boots.

7:50pm

I head over to the astronomy tower.

Mattheo's POV -

4:45pm -

'Hey' Blaise says as he sits next to me. 'Hey' I say as I try to stifle a yawn, herbology is so boring. Blaise starts talking animatedly about something. I tune him out as I stare at the wall. 'So do you wanna go?' Blaise says as he turns to me. 'Huh where?' I ask as I look at him. 'To Astoria's party tonight, at 8:15?' he replies. 'Yeah sure' I mutter. Classes finish a while after and I take a nap.

7:15 -

After I wake up I start getting ready for Astoria's party. I don't feel like getting ready today so I just dress casual and put on some jeans with a white shirt and a black hoodie.

I leave to go to Astoria's party.

Y/n's POV -

9:00pm -

Where is he? I've called him 3 times and left a bunch of messages but he's not picking up or replying. Whatever there must be a reason, maybe he's getting ready or planning something for me? It's too cold out here to wait for long. Whatever, I'll just wait a bit more, he should be coming.

Mattheo's POV -

10:15 -

I'm drunk, I know I am, but not drunk enough; my tolerance is high, too high. I need more to drink. As I head to the kitchen, I bump into Draco. 'Watch it blondie.' I say as I walk past him. He follows me to the kitchen and asks 'Isn't today your anniversary with y/n?' 'Yeah, so what?' I say while I pour myself a shot of tequila. 'Aren't you gonna do anything with her?' He persistently asks. He's so annoying like a little bee in my ear always buzzing. I just shrug and walk away.

11:30 -

I'm making out with Astoria in the stairwell when someone pulls me and then punches me. 'What the fuck?' I say as I stare at the person who punched me. Draco fucking Malfoy. 'WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?' I shout as I stare at him. 'ARENT YOU WITH Y/N?' he shouts. 'Whatever she doesn't matter anyway. Oh yeah now that i think about it i was supposed to meet her on the astronomy tower at 8; if you like her so much go see her.' I reply as blood trickles from my lip. He stares at me in disbelief '8 IT'S BEEN OVER 3 HOURS WHAT IF SHE'S STILL WAITING?' he screams. I shrug and walk back towards Astoria as he runs out of the room.

Draco's POV -

11:35 -

I run through the corridor and head towards the stairs to the astronomy tower. Oh y/n, please be okay. Please don't have waited for that piece of shit Mattheo who doesn't deserve you. I'm sorry I was mean to you, I just didn't know what to say. I run up the stairs and open the door. As I rush out onto the top of the astronomy tower I see Y/n. She's unconscious on the floor. SHIT SHIT SHIT. I pick her up and run towards the infirmary. Please y/n be ok.
