On the harsh and desolate surface of Repturn, a mining planet nestled on the outer fringes of the galaxy, the day commenced like any other day. The oppressive hum of machinery and the shouts of labor echoed through the metallic corridors of the Arabaln Research Corporation. Among the workers, James Thorne, a seasoned security guard, stirred from his restless slumber as his manager's abrasive voice cut through the thin walls of his cramped quarters.

"Wake up, Thorne! You're not on vacation here!" the manager bellowed, pounding on the flimsy door.

Grumbling, James fumbled to his feet, the harsh reality of his job seeping into his consciousness. Another day of monotony awaited him, guarding a mining facility on a distant rock. Little did he know that this day would be different.

As he stumbled into the dimly lit corridor, his eyes caught a peculiar glow emanating from a corner of the room. Intrigued, he approached the source-a mysterious artifact pulsating with an otherworldly radiance. The artifact seemed to call out to him, its ethereal glow casting an enchanting spell upon his senses.

Compelled by an inexplicable force, James touched the artifact, and in an instant, his perception of reality shattered. A kaleidoscope of cosmic wonders unfolded before his eyes-stars, planets, galaxies, and universes dancing in a symphony of colors and lights. He was suspended in the boundless tapestry of the cosmos, a witness to the grandeur of the universe.

Overwhelmed, James collapsed, his consciousness adrift in the vastness of the cosmos. When he awoke, the artifact now inert, his manager stood over him with a scowl etched across his face.

"You're fired, Thorne! Sleeping on the job is one thing, but this... this is a new low," the manager spat.

Unfazed by the sudden turn of events, James found solace in an unexpected encounter. A Foxrin named Alson, one of the humanoid foxes native to Foxralm, approached him. Alson, intrigued by the artifact's glow, saw potential in James beyond the mundane confines of his former job. He spoke of the Neptune Project, a clandestine group known for exploring the unknown corners of the galaxy.

Eager for a new purpose, James accepted Alson's offer to join the enigmatic Neptune Project. Together, they set course for the Solar System, their destination clear-Earth, the heart of humanity and the uncharted territory that held the key to the mysteries unveiled by the radiant artifact. Little did James know, his journey was just beginning, and the cosmos had more revelations in store than he could ever fathom.
