I woke up.
I felt compressed and alone in his deep, dark cave.
I usually get use to unknown areas... this is far the worst.
I could couldn't really sleep. Especially in this island full of people.
How am I expected to sleep on the ground?
I got up and began to walk around.
From a distance, I saw a black figure and a spark.
I heard a grunt and angry mumbling.
"Hello.. is anyone there?" I asked quietly but also loudly so they could hear me.
I saw the black figure quickly hide the items in his hand and look around.
"Calm down.. I'm not gonna do anything to do.." I said getting closer.
"Oh.." they said, I soon got a closer look and realized the familiar person. Shawn?
I finally noticed the lighter and pack of cigarettes. Smoking..? Really?
He soon placed the perky cigarette in his mouth and began trying to light it.
"I could help you if you wanted." I said to him
He gave me a nonchalant look, he soon handed me it.
It wasn't broken, just in one switch I was able to light it.
He soon got closer to me, signaling me to light it as it was still in his mouth.
Then he blew a grey puff as I began to cough.
We both sat down as he finally spoke, "why are you awake?"
"I couldn't sleep, and you?"
"Me neither, I needed a break if you know, you know." He supposed.
A loud silence soon shadowed over us.
"Wanna try?" He said looking over at me, I gave him a blank stare and said "sure?"
"Close your eyes for a second.." I didn't ask and did what he told me to.
"Now breath in and when you exhale, open your eyes."
I opened my eyes to see the grey acrid smell of cigarettes in my mouth.
"Oh, that wasn't as bad.."
We talked for quite a bit of time. Maybe he wasn't as terrible as I thought.
"Well I should probably get going.."
"Wait!"
He said grabbing my wrist.
He pulled me closer to him and then kissed me, right then and there.
As he slowly put his hands around my waistline.
I tugged on his shirt and let out a soft moan.
This small kiss turned into a French kiss, I let go trying to catch my breath.
When I looked back he was no where to be seen.. what had just happened?
I didn't move, I just sat there and fell asleep near the tree.
I woke up staring at the clouds. This whole thing that happened last night felt like a dream.
I knew Shawn probably was just out of his state of mind, he was probably high!
But he created a hole as deep as the Pacific Ocean in my mind.
I was still tired of only getting 6 hours of sleep. I usually get more..
I heard my name from a distance, "Shawn?" I said
"no silly! it's me, Ella!" She said walking over.
"Oh." I sighed loudly. "We have a challenge prince David!"
"Dave is fine.."
I carefully stood up as she led me to the challenge.
Chris had handed us these electric devices to put around our necks.
"Todays challenge! Truth or Scare!!"
As we began the challenge I tried not to make eye contact with Shawn.
But if I did he would be looking at me too, he would awkwardly scoot away.
"Dave.. doing a scare!"
"Sure, I got nothing to hide." I said
"For a point, you must.. Kiss a person next to you!!"
I went silent for a second, I could've looked at sky, SKY!!
But no, I looked over at Shawn.
He quickly looked at me and, once again, ran away like he did last night.
Shawn was starting to get on my nerves.. did I really mean nothing, did that kiss mean nothing?
I ended up getting nervous with sky, instead of a kiss, she belched in my face..
It was probably the mineral water..
I'm so disappointed and disgusted at this point, Shawn had kissed me!
The next day he acts like it's nothing? I should've pushed him away.
But I didn't, now for acting like a idiot I get the price for stupidity.
I should've never woken up, tried that cigarette, and NEVER NEVER NEVER should have kissed him!!
Am I, me, DAVE.. just going to sit here like the one taken advantage of?
I never really noticed I had the choice to decide. To play his little game, or live my own life.
Seriously.. it's like a ride that you know you wanna get off of, but you can't. You know it's bad, but you love it.
I'd rather stay in my place before I get stepped on, remind me never to speak to him again.
Hopefully sky would never treat me like this.
And by the way.. doesn't Jasmine have like a thing for him or something?
Maybe tell Jasmine about how Shawn is a big liar and manipulator!

It's not a big deal. But it was my first kiss.
The night fell over us as I decided not to sleep in the cave.
I didn't think twice about it.
I got up and began to forage for a comfortable spot.
I sat in sulk near a huge rock. I once again opened my eyes to see a black figure and a spark.
It was probably Shawn, but I didn't care.
I tried not to think about it and proceeded to try to fall asleep again.
