"Agh..." I yawned as I slammed my hands down on my alarm clock that had gone off, "What time is it..." As I grabbed my phone on the nightstand next to me, and turned it on, it flashed my eyes, blinding me like how one turns on discord light mode in a dark room. Rubbing my eyes, it took a while for my eyes to adjust to the sudden change of light.
Looking at my phone, ignoring the notifications, I see that it was Sunday, November 26, current time 7.AM, groaning. I reluctantly got up from my bed's comfy warmness to touch the cold wooden floor that made me shiver.
Quickly getting dressed, I made my way out of my bedroom only to repeat my morning routine, brush my teeth, and head out to a doctor's appointment. Walking outside of my house, I thought back about my life before graduating college as every day was a different adventure, but now after graduating, my life has suddenly gone on repeat as every day I wake up, go to work, come back, and go to sleep and repeat.
Every day is like an endless cycle of the same thing over and over and the only sort of excitement is the distraction I get from playing games on my phone to distract me from the endless pain that is life, especially playing this game called Azur Lane since it reminds me of my love life on how lonely I am.
But today was an exception since I had been feeling a bit weird lately and my symptoms are not getting any better, I thought it was from me not eating properly or getting enough sleep but the symptoms got worse, thinking about it I did have an incident with some chemicals at work and it could be that, and my car broke down today so I had to take the bus, neat.
Eventually, I reached the bus stop, and now I am standing there waiting for the bus to arrive. I stared into the distance, contemplating if I should text some of my friends to meet up so I could have some excitement in my life, but knowing my friends, they were busy with their work.
Sighing, I was about to take out my bus card when my phone buzzed, signaling I had gotten a notification. I took my phone out, and I saw a notification from Azur Lane *cough* *cough* Akashi* cough* *cough* *cough* that my commission was completed more accurately than the ten-hour one.
Opening the game, I claimed the commission rewards and reassigned it so I could claim it again ten hours later... Looking at my docks with the ships residing in there, some with skins and some not, the only thing I cannot get out of my head is the jiggle physics some skins have and the suggestiveness of the skins, going through November was the hardest month with this game, this might be the last happy moment I have left before I visit my doctor so I savored the moment before I closed the game as the bus pulled up to the stop.

"You only have a few days left to live." The doctor in front of me said not sugarcoating it in any way. I had already arrived at the hospital and done a few hours' worth of tests and I now sat on the hospital bed wearing the hospital gown as the doctor now stood in front of me with a clipboard in hand flipping through some of the pages and looking at the results written on it.
"Is there anything that could be done?" I said hoping for a little bit of light in this dark situation, so I could at least get a bit more time to spend with my family, "My condolences but your condition is 'unique' so we have no effective treatment for it."
"So, can I go?" I asked, wanting to see my family to at least spend the last few moments I had with them.
"Unfortunately, no, the disease you have is nearing its late stages, so you will have to remain in quarantine in this room to monitor for any changes." The doctor replied as they flipped over another page on his clipboard eyes scanning the page before looking back at me.
