graduation Ch1

Midnight POV

As I wake up from my sleep I get ready for school cause today is the day of my graduation and the day where I need to find another job.

I lost my last job, a job that I got pay well enough to pay rent and for groceries. Since I'm an orphan who escape the foster system and a kid who doesn't have a parent to pay for my needs.

I needed to work hard for what I have now. I remember as I found myself no longer in the foster system at the age of eleven and seven years later at a better apartment than two years ago but still in my budget.

As I got my pack back with my cap and gown that my school give me from the reuse program, I walk out of my apartment and lock the door.

When I got to school I looked for my friends, because today of the last day of school. Me and some of my friends group want to do senior pranks, For our final farewell to highschool.

As we attend our last classes of the year each of my friends group had fun pranks for some classes and while getting to class.

                    After graduation

When I finally get into my apartment from graduation. I went straight to my computer to relook at any jobs that may be hiring or jobs that I may like to work at.I found some jobs but they didn't pay that well. We'll just not enough for groceries after I payed for the rent.

I remember that some friends were thinking of working with heroes to make easy money or were in hero training to become a hero. I thought about it before but I didn't want to fight or be on call 24/7. I mean I knew how to fight but putting my life on danger 24/7 like that it just wasn't for me.

I finally found a job that pay enough for rent and if I use money I already saved and by saving from this new job as well. I would be able to buy enough groceries even after I payed rent.

                         At the job

"Hello my name is Midnight Starling I would like to work here if that is possible" I ask the cashier at the Cafe I wish to work at.

"Mhm oh yes of course let me get my manager please wait here" the cashier say before going off to get the manager of the Cafe.

I was able to get the job and I would start in a few days. We decided that I would work the night shifts on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday the rest I would work the early morning shifts.
