No idea if there are seasons in the Wings of Fire universe. For the sake of this little, currently non-canon bonus scene, let's assume there are. Enjoy :)

Droplet ducked as the snowball whizzed over her head, just barely grazing her frills and sending stray flecks of cold raining down on her. She didn't waste a moment in firing back at Rainstorm before ducking safely behind a tree, a returning shot from Emerald scattering against its dark bark.
The three had been outside, despite the cold, for the better part of the morning. It was the perfect type of day, the sky a brilliant blue as chilly sunlight reflected off of a glittering blanket of snow. Droplet had been happy to wander through fields and forests that were so wonderfully quiet, but of course her siblings had insisted on a game. She found she didn't mind, though, as hurling snowballs at each other was turning out to be more fun than she'd expected.
"Attack!" Rainstorm hollered, and a flash of her dark blue scales caught Droplet's eye as her sister charged at her hiding place. Yelping, Droplet dove into the open, snowballs landing all around her as she wove across the field.
Emerald joined in on the attack, sending a snowball slamming into Droplet's wing. A second came from Rainstorm's direction, catching her in the neck, and Droplet gave a dramatic holler before dropping to the ground. "I've been hit," she called out with a laugh.
"Droplet!" a voice cried, and Droplet twisted her head to see a purplish pink dragon landing in the field. Golden eyes took the scene before a whorls of gold and orange swept across Lilac's scales. "I'll avenge you," declared the RainWing as she scooped up a mound of snow and launched herself at the two SeaWings.
"Aaah!" Rainstorm yelped as Lilac sent a deluge of snowballs flying at her. The dark scaled SeaWing collapsed in a giggling heap as Lilac turned to Emerald. The brilliant green dragon raised a snow-covered talon, but Lilac just smirked and vanished. Talon prints sprung up in the snow as she charged at Emerald, who stood no chance against an invisible RainWing with a grudge. In moments he was pinned to the snow, a triumphant Lilac perched on top of him, and all four of them were laughing.
"Thanks for the save," Droplet said as she shook out her snow-covered wings.
"Anytime," the RainWing said with a grin. She hopped off of Emerald and bounded over to Droplet, twining their tails together. Probably for warmth, Droplet reasoned. Sparks of heat were certainly emitting from where Lilac's scales rested against hers.
"That's enough snow fighting for me," Emerald muttered, to which Rainstorm laughed.
"You're just a sore loser," she declared, smirking at him.
"Shut up," Emerald shoved her over, flurries of snow rising in clouds as she stumbled to catch herself. "You lost first."
"Actually, technically, I did," Droplet piped, but neither were listening.
"If you're not a sore loser, then prove it," Rainstorm spoke over her. "Race you back to the mountain."
"Sure, but I won't lose," Emerald retorted. Before Droplet could so much as speak, both had launched themselves into the air and were shooting towards Jade Mountain in a shower of snow.
Lilac laughed as Droplet sighed. "Those two never stop, huh?"
"Doesn't seem like it," Droplet responded with a smile, turning her head to look at Lilac. She couldn't contain a gasp when she saw the RainWing's new array of colours.
Normally a solid shade that matched her namesake, Lilac's scales had deepened to include swirls of peachy orange and rosy pink, with some lovely streaks of sunshine yellow.
"Do you like it?" she asked, spreading her wings so Droplet could appreciate all of the colouring. "It took me forever to work out. I was trying to match the sunset, you know?"
"It's lovely," Droplet said earnestly, then felt her face grow hot as Lilac beamed at her.
"Thanks! I'm glad you think so."
Was it her imagination, or did extra clouds of rosy pink drift across Lilac's scales as she said that?
"Oh yeah, almost forgot," Lilac said before Droplet could dwell on it. She was rummaging in a sac tucked beneath one wing, eventually pulling out a pair of stone jars. A warm, sweet smell wafted from them, and Droplet's stomach growled in response. "Peril gave me these. It's that applesauce she's always talking about. We should eat it now, I think it's still warm."
Droplet nodded, and the two made their way to sit at the base of a tree. The snow seeped into Droplet's scales and she shivered, wondering if there was somewhere warmer they could retreat to.
She opened her mouth to suggest as much to Lilac when the RainWing extended a long, lovely wing over Droplet's back. Heat tingled through her as Lilac gave an uncharacteristically shy smile. "You looked cold," she said as her golden eyes darted anxiously around. "This alright?"
Droplet nodded, grateful that Lilac couldn't read her emotions on her own scales.
Lilac passed her an applesauce, and both dragonets pulled the lid off of the stone jar and breathed in the sweet, still-warm fragrance.
"Ok, Peril is my new favourite dragon," Lilac mumbled around a mouthful. Droplet laughed as she tried her own. It tasted even better than it smelled, notes of cozy spices lingering beneath the apples. It warmed her almost as much as Lilac's wing across her scales.
The two ate in relative silence, and Droplet was licking up the last traces of applesauce when Lilac leaned gently into her. Droplet froze as the RainWing rested her diamond-shaped head on her shoulder, eyes fluttering.
"Sorry," she mumbled with a yawn. "It's my suntime, back home."
Droplet glanced to the sky to see that it was, indeed, just about midday.
"Don't worry. We can... You can... Stay right here, if that's best," Droplet stammered, embarrassed. Lilac gave a bleary nod.
Droplet settled herself into a more comfortable position, letting Lilac rest against her. The RainWing looked so peaceful, warm shades of rosy pink dancing across her scales as she grew too tired to control them.
A weird, shivery feeling trailed down Droplet's spine as Lilac whispered in a voice foggy with sleep, "I like... Spending time with you." She gave a little smile and fell into slumber before Droplet could respond.
Droplet blinked, grateful that the RainWing couldn't see the uncontrollable smile that spread across her face. She watched a rainbow of colours drift across Lilac's scales as her own emotions rose up in a wave that felt just as beautiful.
"I like spending time with you, too," she said into the silence. No one but the sky, the wind, the snow could hear her, but that was alright. Lilac's warmth was pressed against her, fending off the cold, and Droplet knew that one day she might just be brave enough to say those words to the RainWing who would hear them.
Until then, Droplet settled down, wrapped her tail around Lilac's, and closed her eyes with the memory of the RainWing's smile playing over in her head.
