𝟎𝟑 | 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐓 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓

When I woke up, i was on an unknown's bed in an unknown's house. The unknown came and His face seemed really familiar.. Oh! its 'him'!! He was wearing a white shirt, two top buttons opened, sleeves rolled and covered in blood.

"Are you Okay?" he asked.

"I-I dont know..how did i came here? Are they still following me? why is there blood on ur shirt?"

"Its a long story. First take this." he gave me a capsule and a glass of water to drink.

"I am Rishi Singh Bedi. You came in front of my car. Some guys were after you but I handled them. Tell me who are you? whats your name? where do you live? if you are comfortable.." he asked with his husky deep voice.

"oh, I am Mahi. Mahi Chaudhary.. "as i would say further he interrupted.

"Wait, Im sorry to interrupt but you seem very familiar. Have we met? I have heard your name before. You can continue.."

"Yes, We have met before. You remember Aastha's wedding? let me continue, so I am 21 years old . They were following me since the bus stop. My parents died in a car accident..and I am a single child too. I am currently pursuing MBBS. Actually, was.. Since my parents died, I could no longer pay for my expenses and a home. Sorry, i talk a lot." I became silent.

"No no, it's alright. So you are that girl who bumped into me at the counter..I am so sorry that happened to you. I can understand you.." he said.

"it's not your fault.. By the way, You recognised me? I just told my name and you remember where we met.. I thought you won't." I replied.

"nothing special. I just remember people easily.. What happened to you there? Why were the guys chasing you?" he asked.

( Rishi's POV: How can i forget you, the prettiest person i have ever seen..?"

"I have no where to live so I went where the bus led me to.. At the last stop, the guys started chasing me and were trying to..r..ape me. They tried to remove my clothes. i ran as fast as i could then..then I don't remember after being infront of your car." I explained.

"I'm sorry. Now, you are safe here."

"What did you do?" i asked him.

"Nothing." he lied.

"Please tell me." i asked again for the truth.

"I shot them but don't worry. It was a Licensed Gun for Safety. Now no-one will trouble you."

" Thank you so much. Now, I will go. I don't want to disturb you anymore.." i said.

[MAHI'S POV: He nodded. And then, I went to the lift. I didn't knew where I will go but i won't stay here as a burden for him. I didn't knew the features of the lift.]

"Can you please help me?" I asked.

Rishi came and did something with the buttons and then left me.

"Thank you. Good bye. " i said for the last time.(as per as i thought.)

Then the lift went on but I came back to the floor i was earlier on and I saw him again standing there.

"But do you know where will you go now? What if the same happens to you again? What will you do? to whom will you go?" as he said and his phone rang.

"At this time? How am i supposed to eat then? do you even care?!" "First, You. Now, the maid as well?! Fuck, man!" he ended the call and punched the wall with his knuckles.

" What happened? "

"The housekeeper or we can say my maid has left the job because she's pregnant." he said with frustration.

" Leave that! but first answer me?! remember my questions?" he questioned as he had became angry.

" I- I don't know. I'm sorry but I don't want to burden you." i replied while looking down.

"Listen, You can work as my maid. You can cook for me and I will pay you your salary in return. That is the only option you can do now. You can't roam around in this cruel world. I mean this incident can happen again to you." he said with calmness.

"Okay, Thank you. I can't live here though."

"You will. I mean You can pay the rent with your salary. So let me show you the house."

He was showing me all the room. Now, he was in the kitchen.

"This is the kitchen. You can cook here." then he started walking towards other room-

I stood up on a table to reach the first-aid kit but I accidentally was about to fall.

"Owwwww!!!"i screamt.

"W-Where are you- ? M-MAHI!!" he saw me. Before I could fall, he caught me in his tough arms.

"Why did you stood there?! You could fall! dekh kr chala kro Main humesha nahi rahunga tumhe bachane ke liye, aur koi dusra tumhe bachaye yeh main dekh nahi sakta.." he for the first time talked with me in hindi.

"Thank you..and sorry.." i replied while blushing because of his flirtatious words.

He finished showing me his whole mansion with a mall behind.
