"Okay. I trust you". A Kian Lawley & Sam Pottorff story

Chapter 6.

Like every night since I got here, I dreamed of my mom. It was when she and I went to a nearby amusement park. Now this might not sound like much, but we didn't have a lot money, so it was a great experience. We went on every ride, and spent all day there. It was the happiest day we ever spent together and I remember every detail even though it happened 8 years ago. I miss her so much.

I woke up at 10:55. I'm supposed to meet Kian in 5 minutes!! Good thing I didn't have to go anywhere. I quickly got dressed into jean shorts and a tyedied tanktop. I brushed my hair and put it in a ponytail. I put on a bit of makeup and went out on the balcony.

"Hey!" Kian said smiling. His smile, oh my goodness.

"Hey! Miss me?" I said raising an eyebrow.

"Of course. And we didn't get to finish our game last night. I still have a few more questions and I only want you to answer." He said.

"Uhm, ok. Shoot."

"How many boyfriends have you had?"

"Only one", I replied.

"Really? I'm surprised. Hmm, have you had your first kiss?"

"Yep.. When I was 11."

"Would you ever kiss someone you just met?" He asked smiling.

"What?" That question kinda surprised me.

"Would you ever kiss someone you just met?" he repeated.

"It depends I guess..."

"Depends on what?" Now he looked confused.

"Whether or not he was cute of course..."

"Do you think I'm cute??" Kian said cutting me off.

"Well, uh, yeah..."

"So you'd kiss me?" He was smirking.

"Only if you'd kiss me." I answered. Of course I'd kiss him. He's so cute. With his sparkly brown eyes and perfect smile. His sense of humor is amazing. Do I like Kian? I can't.. I just met him. Maybe he likes me too.. Yeah right. He can't. I mean, I'm not like the girls that live here. I'm not gorgeous, super skinny, tall, tanned.. Why would he like me?

"Billy?" Kian was looking at me.

"Yeah?"

"I like you..."

"You do?" I can't believe he just said that.

"Yeah, I do. I know we just met, but.."

"Kian" I said cutting him off. "I like you too."

"Really???" He looked happy.

"Yes, but I think we should try being just friends for awhile. Make sure we do really like each other. Cause if we were to ever date, and it somehow didn't work out, I don't want to ruin out friendship." I told him.

"I guess so..So do you wanna come over today?" He asked. "Aria and my friend Sam are coming with me to the mall at about 1. You can come over now and we can have breakfast then go".

"Alright, be over in a second.

At Kians, we made pancakes. It was really fun actually! The radio was turned up loud and we accidentally made a huge mess of the kitchen.

"Aria! Come down and get breakfast!!" Kian yelled up the stairs. She came down the stairs texting.

"Alright, and when is Sam coming over?" she asked.

"Why? Finally gonna ask him out or something?" He said laughing.

"What? No!! Why would you think that?!" She asked. She still hasn't looked up from her phone.

"Everyone knows you like him! Sam even knows. You make it really obvious!"

"Shut up, Kian! I do not!!" Finally she looked up. "Why is she here?" She glared at me.

"Billy is coming to the mall with us!" He smiled at me. I smiled back.

"Ugggggghhh, why? You know I don't like her!" she said pouting.

"Aria! Maybe you should stay here and Sam, Billy and I will go." He looked pissed.

"No way! I'm coming. Let's eat."

We walked to the mall since it was only 5 minutes away. It was so much bigger than the one in my hometown.

"Sam said he'd meet us at Urban Outfitters", Aria announced.

"How do you know?" Kian asked. He looked confused.

"I'm texting him", she said as if it should've been obvious.

Kian was about to say something when a boy came up.

"Hey Kian! Hey Aria! And you must be Billy! I'm Sam." I stuck my hand out for him to shake, but he gave me a hug instead. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Kian give Sam a dirty look.

When Sam let go, it was awkwardly quiet. "So, um, what are we doing first?"

We spent about 2 hours at the mall. I didn't buy much, but Kian and Sam did! Those boys love to shop!

Sam is hilarious. He kept us laughing the whole time at the mall and on the way back to hang out at his house. And Kian was right about Aria liking Sam. She was all over him all day. He didn't seem to mind too much though.

We were at his house playing games for what seemed like hours when Aria suggested truth or dare. We all agreed and sat in a circle on the floor. Most of the questions we stupid and the dares were mostly funny. I had to put whipped cream all over my arms, Kian had to run outside in his boxers and Sam had to call a random number and sing Cody Simpson. Aria always chose truth, so that wasn't much fun. Soon, It came to me.

"Truth or Dare, Billy?" Sam asked.

"Uhm, dare Sammy!"

"Okok. I dare you to...kiss Kian!"

Kian looked over at Sam, then at me. A small smile came on his face.

"Uh, ok." I got up from my seat on the floor and walked in Kians direction. I sat down in front of him. I leaned in and whispered "You sure?" He nodded. So I kissed him. It was great. I knew I liked him before but now I liked him even more. How was I going to be just friends with him now? Why was I so stupid?

Almost 20 minutes later I gave Sam a hug and my number, then walked home. I went right to bed. I wasn't sure why, it was only about 8pm. I lied in bed until I heard someone outside my balcony. I figured it was Kian, so I went out. To my surprise, it was Aria.

"Since you are going to end up dating Kian, I think we should try to be friends. I'm sorry for being rude earlier, it's just I really like Sam. I thought maybe you would like him too..." She actually looked sorry. "It's alright. I understand. I'd love to be friends! Text me sometime?", I said handing her my phone. She gave me hers, and we gave each other our numbers. I'm glad she likes me now. I think we are going to end up being great friends! "Goodnight Aria!" "Night Billy."

With that, I went into my room and went to sleep. I don't see how this could get any better. I already have 3 great friends and school doesn't start for another month! Maybe living here won't be so bad.
