*~*~* AJ's POV *~*~*

*a week ago*

"Alex!"

I heard J scream as he ran towards her and before she could hit the ground, he slid beneath her and caught her. Everyone was shocked into silence, I stood frozen and couldn't move until someone started to yell my name and I snapped out of my daze.

"Aaron! Come get her and sprint towards the nurses office!"

J yelled. I looked at him and I have never seen him so worried in his life, his eyes were tearing up and I have never seen this man cry. Alex must mean an awful lot to him so I panicked, I didn't get why he wanted me to run her there! He can do it!

"Why me!?! You can do it! You're faster than me!"

I shouted back. I don't like admitting this but I was scared too. Although I've only known Alex for a few days now, something about her makes me care for her, want to protect her, and I never want to see her get hurt.

"Bullshit! We all know you're faster, just please!"

He begged as a tear rolled down his left eye. Shit if the first tear comes from your left eye it means sadness, if its from your right, happiness. I didn't say a word as I picked Alex up, she felt as light as a feather and as fragile as a flower. I felt like I could brake her if I tightened my grip too much, so I lightly held her, and I sprinted off to the nurses office.

After several hours, the doctor came out (this school is so rich! They can afford an actually doctor on campus!) and told us that she was in a coma, but hes not sure what caused it, he said its probably from exhaustion, not enough sleep, and stress. He stated that he wanted her close to his office just in case, so we had her stay in Matt's room since his was the closest to the office.

Its been 2 days and she hasn't woken up yet, it was my turn to watch her. I sat next to her bed and took her hand. Her hand was drained of color and very bony. The door was open and in came Court.

"Hey handsome, how you holding up?"

She asked me as if I was the one sick.

"Fine, I like keeping her company, she's beautiful,"

I whispered as I looked at her face. I didn't realize what I said until Court reminded me.

"She is... she gets it from her mom... I cant believe she died..."

she said whispering also. I got up and gave her a hug. When I pulled away, she kissed me. I didn't realize I was kissing her back until she pulled me away and dragged me to her room. One thing led to another and we ended up doing it. It was 10 at night when I left Alex and now it was 10 am since I fell asleep after.

I woke up and saw Court sleeping next to me. I stepped out of bed, trying not to wake her. I grabbed my stuff and slipped it on. I ran to her bathroom and brushed my teeth with my finger, and i combed my fingers through my hair. I saw a pack of gum on her stand. I grabbed it and stuck 2 in my mouth. I ran out of the room and felt instantly guilty for leaving Alex... I felt a hand on my shoulder that turned me around forcefully.

"What the hell! I saw you coming out of Courtney's room!"

J yelled at me. He looked furious. I yelled back and I admitted to banging Courtney only to hear a little gasp. I turned and there was Alex... SHIT!!! I tried apologizing but she wouldn't listen. I felt rejected and I have never been rejected before. I just stood there. I didn't know what to do. So I walked back to my room and sat on the couch. 10 minutes later Alex and J come in, J holding Alex while she sleeps.

"Hey I'm really sorry. I did a stupid thing-"

"Its not me you should be apologizing to."

J said as he set Alex down and went out the door. I walked over to where Alex was and whispered
