Glimmering Aurora

"Heyy sexy... Temme one thing... Why did he came here...?? Wasn't he perfectly fitted in NYU...?? Then why in the name of freaking God did he have to uproot himself & come here to this boring city of Nottingham...?? Didn't he trusted you enough or what...??", he kept on exclaiming like its the biggest mystery in the world as they walked down the aisle of the local supermarket, picking up the groceries she's been running out of.

Gen smiled to herself as Zack impatiently tapped his feet to get an answer out of her. She picked up two boxes from the shelf of chocolate cereal, unable to decide which one to take. She held them both in front of her, pondering over the trickiest puzzle in the world. After a moment she threw both the boxes in her cart, completely ignoring the grumpy Zack trailing behind her, stomping his feet like a 5 year old.

"If you're done with your fucking cereal choices, would you mind telling me what 'm tryin'a ask since forever...??", he asked her in a tone dripping with frustration. He'd been going on and on about her relationship with Mathan since forever now and it was actually frustrating her now because of the simple reason that the more she talked about him, the deeper she fell in love with him, and the more she fell in love with him, the more desperately she missed him. Talking about all this made her think about everything she'd never have in this life again, but she was still going to live through it. She was going to accept everything that'd come her way, whole-heartily, starting from the fact that she is going to enjoy this life for the one person, she loves more than she's ever loved anything: Mathan.

She turned around, taking a deep breath, bracing herself for the conversation that was yet again to begin. "Its not about trust Zack... It never was.... If it was trust then you would've been dead by now.... You practically lived at my house in the first year we were here and he wasn't.... You were always being a jerk whenever I talked to him, trying to give him the expression that something's going on between us...", she raised her eyebrow at him, giving him a lopsided smile. In that moment he realized how right she was and what a jerk he was. He simply tried to make him jealous, but it just never worked. The guy was like a saint, making him feel like a bad-ass all the time.

He ran his fingers through his hair, lookintg at his feet, suddenly not able to look her in the eye. She grinned at his embarrasment, before turning away to face the shelf again, looking for the stuff she needed. She sighed as she continued:

"It wasn't about trust cheese ball.... You know that... When I got the scholarship here, I almost didn't came... I didn't wanted to stay away from him but he forced me to.... We were just starting the junior year at college.... He said its only about 2 years and then he'll get enrolled here as well for his MBA and then we'll be together again.... 2 years didn't felt like as long to him as me back then....".

"You're actually making it even more confusing... Hell... why why why why...??", he went on in a weird voice, looking like a freak. She threw the bag of chips she was about to put in her cart, at him.

"Shut up you freak...!! I would tell you if you'd keep you're goofy mouth shut for a while...", she said in completely pissed tone, shutting him up instantly.

"Sorry", he said in low voice, trailing behind her as she walked down the aisle, completely ignoring him. He sped past her, stopping right in front of her, making her smash into his chest. She looked up at him glaring, ready to punch him, but he quickly pinched his earlobes, giving her a puppy dog look that was simply irresistible.
