Chapter 15: Camping 4

Minji woke up later than everyone else, she rose from her sleeping position and looked around her, Karina and Haerin are both not beside her. She could also hesr the faint chatters and laughters of the other outside, ahe grabs her phone and checks the time.

'8:33am' she sighs, ahe was about to place it back down when she saw a notification, she didn't check when it was sent and she proceeded in opening the message.

It was Hanni.

'Can we talk?' she reads the message in her mind, ahe then grumbles upon remembering the incident last night. Her and Jungwon almost clashed because of the guy's insensitive remark.

Great, now what does Hanni want to talk to her about now? Is she on her side or Jungwon's? And why is she thinking that she'll side with anyone anyways?

She ran a hand over her long dark locks before crawling out of the tent, she squints her eyes due to the bright sun glaring down at her.

Her eyes and face puffy in the morning but still she looks breathtaking as ever, wonder if she knows it herself.

She heads to the river to wash her face and freshen up, wipes her face with a clean towel then stretches for a bit, ahe ignored her friends walking here and there for now as she did her own morning routine. As she walks back to the tents shw catches Haerin talking to Karina, they looked like they're having a good conversation, Minji can tell by how Haerin's cheeks would puff up eventhough she's facing slighty backwards. The two are pointing at whatever they're talking about, towards the trees. Minji observes a little bit more and the two squeals when a frog jumped out of the bushes.

Minji couldn't fight an unconscious smile. She almost felt her heart jump out of it's cage when she auddenly felt heavy on her shoulder and hears a hum next to her.

"I see. Watching your girlfriend, huh?"

Minji was quick to retort and slightly yells,
"What are you talking about?!"

Sulyoon slightly knocks her shoulder and leaves with a smirk. "Come on, help me prepare the table. Those two are about to devour the foods before we could even sit down." Minji trails her eyes towards the two guys that are looking at the breakfast placed on the unprepared table. Minji narrows her eyes at Jungwon. She definitely doesn't want to talk to him.

She sighs and helps Sulyoon still, she ignored Jungwon the whole time she fixes the table. Minji kmows and can feel it too that Jungwon doesn't want to talk to her too, the feelings are all mutual.

But as she finishes up, ahe looks around and notices someone not around. She bit her lip and scans her eyes around. "Where's Hanni?" she says and Sulyoon and Karina also looked around, finally realizing the Vietnamese's absence.

Haerin hears this, she blinks her eyes few times, she turns her head to each side before facing them again, then she answers with certainty,
"She's by the river."

Hearing this Minji turns on her heels and walks to the direction leading to the river. Haerin watches her as she go. "How'd you know?" Karina questions Haerin, because they both never parted way the moment they walked out of the tent and they haven't bumped into Hanni this morning, yet.

Haerin purses her lips and shrugs, "Are you spiderwoman or something?" the other girl jokes.

Minji sighs when she saw the small figure standing by the rocks near the flowing waters. The girl seems in trance, she's not doing anything in particular right now. She's just standing there staring at the view before her.

Minji quickly made her way to the other girl without the latter noticing, she secured a hand around her left wrist in case she slips if she ever gets startled by her.
