Chapter 9

After pushing him out the door I went back into my room. I began cleaning up my room because it was getting a little messier than normal.

Once I finished cleaning the room I went downstairs and started fixing Lilyanna her food. I also threw some pizza rolls into the oven for when my brothers and sisters get home. It was about 3:00 now and my brothers and sisters get out of school at 3:15.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to pick them up from school or let them catch the bus...

They can catch the bus.

I began cleaning up the living room and finally putting some rolls onto plates for them. Just as I sat down on the couch to watch some tv my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered

"Hello, may I speak to Lily Rose please?". Someone said

"This is she". I said

"Okay I am Mrs.Jen from Hotel Late Night ... I was calling because you had applied for a job here and I am just now seeing it and wanted to talk to you about it". Mrs. Jen said

"Yes I'm all ears and am ready to talk about it when you are". I said

"We can talk about it now if you come down to my office". She said

" I can't right now I have to pick up my daughter from daycare soon aswell as care for my siblings when they get home in 15 minutes". I said

" I normally don't do this but I could come to your house if you'd like". She assured

"That would actually be great... I will email you my address right now and I will be looking forward to seeing you". I said

" okay great! I'll be there soon". She said

"Alright thank you ma'am". I said

"No, thank you ". I said

After hanging up on the phone with her i quickly scattered around the house trying to clean everything possible. I swept the floors and then went back over them with a broom. I dusted and then re-dusted everything. I even ran to the store quickly to buy some frames and pictures to hang up on the wall.

I emailed the address already so she should be on her way. Just then the kids came home. Banging on the door left and right each knock harder then the one before. I opened the door quickly.

"Stop banging on the doors, don't you guys have keys?". I asked

"Yeah, but we saw your car outside so we didn't feel like bringing it out ". Hannah said

"Okay guys go grab your plates and go upstairs in your rooms". I said

"Why?". Robert asked

"Don't question me guys go". I rushed them

"No I want to watch tv". Jacob said

"I have an interview and the lady is coming to the house so I need you all out of the way". I said

"Can't we just stay down here and not be in your way?" Marie asked

"Put it like this ... Yall can be where ever you want in this house but don't keep messing with me ". I said

" okay". They all said

After about 45 minutes the lady showed up. I quickly fixed my hair and opened the door.

"Hello Mrs. Jen, welcome". I said

"Thank you". She said as she entered.

"Want something to drink like coffee or water or anything?". I asked
