Pete opens his eyes frowning with a slight red orange mix sunlight falling on his face. He tries to move and realises a weight on him. He is locked in Vegas's arms. He couldn't move all night to different position because he was injured but Vegas too remained in same position. Not an inch of movement. Pete is looking at him with guilt in his eyes.

"I know I am too hot but will you just keep staring?" Vegas teases.
"I am not staring."
"Yes I guess i was dreaming. You are sleeping with open eyes for about minutes now."

Pete tries to get up but Vegas holds him back.

"What is the hurry. You are a late riser plus you need rest. Sleep more."

"I am feeling tired. All night in one position. And you also look sore. It's better we get up, if I feel like it i will again sleep after few hours. I am hungry too."

"Ok. Why didn't you tell me before" Vegas says while getting up and he also helps Pete to get out of bed. Pete looks better than before but the hissing tells the pain is still there.

"So you go and wash up , i will prepare something for breakfast."

"We can do breakfast outside. You don't have to work."

"This is not work. This is what I want to do for you."

These sweet talks from Vegas have only ever made Pete weak. In the past this weakness was something he seeked but now he can't afford to. He can't let himself melt in Vegas's charms. He needs to avoid anything that can distract him from his goal. The least he can do is let Vegas have his body, so he remains satisfied there , but he can't respond to these gestures. Pete is already disappointed in himself for getting so shrink in Vegas's arms last night. To give in to his own greed of having Vegas's warmth. To let Apo's word affect him so much. He has to regain control over his emotions.

"Well I don't think you want to loose this opportunity." Pete says

"Which opportunity" Vegas seemed confused for a second before he saw Pete dropping the white sheets to the floor, exposing himself naked moving his fingers on his not so good abs but which were enough to make Vegas's throat dry.

Vegas has never loved anything more than Pete's skin. His fingers on Pete's skin are the perfect possessors. They own it and worship it the way it deserves. And they desire to worship it. But right now , a different goal is overpowering that desire. He moves forward towards Pete who is just waiting to get held down with strong arms and be met with the most soft lips ever.

Vegas leans forward and looks Pete in the eyes while Pete's naked body is dangerously close to him.

"Pete go wash up and control your horses" he winks and leaves after giving Pete the notorious teasing chuckle. Pete is left in confusion. Vegas has never denied him ever before then why now . He can't prevent his ego from getting hurt a little bit and also a beat that he skipped because of the way Vegas smiled at him.

Thinking that maybe it's too early in the morning for Vegas, he proceeds towards the washroom.

"I have to have control on myself. I cannot afford Vegas to become a reason for my distraction. But why is he like this. Damn I was without a single piece of cloth infront of him , then also he refused." He looks himself in the mirror
" Why do you think is that Pete. Because you are probably no more attractive to him. You wanted him to touch you? Have you seen yourself? These dark circles, no shape, no figure in your body and those dirty wounds. Vegas cleaned you and everything else around whenever there was a sexual act done. You want that man to touch you when your body reeks of oozing blood, torn muscles pieces are visible and medicine has dried over it? How will he ever find you even worth touching. Yesterday night was all a pity or maybe just because at some point he liked you. Emotions may still be there but the hunger and desire for a filthy man and an ugly body like yours? So don't think anymore Pete. His temptation are dead, now work your way to kill his emotions too."
