(Third person pov)
From day one, Stanley completed endings for the narrator, helped him, and even went through the left door as much as he went through the right door..but nothing changed.

When Stanley helped the narrator get through his wants to continue collecting Stan figurines, to feel the excitement, but when they got to his office, the narrator said, changing everything: Is there anything else? Was there something that came before your office? There's something I feel I can remember... I can remember... I can remember...

Yes, I'm remembering something now. I remember before this whole story got started. Back then, I was... I was different; I used to make big decisions, I was passionate! I was sceptical! I weighed each decision with profound thoughtfulness. And then, somewhere along the way, I stopped making decisions.

I became lazy. And I came up with-well-I came up with a character named Stanley, to do my thinking for me.

He would make the decisions, he would decide which way to go, I would cheer him on as he collected figurines for no reason. Why did I invent Stanley? Was I lonely?

Yes, perhaps that's it. Perhaps I needed to imagine I had companionship. And Stanley really did make for a wonderful companion, even if he was a fiction. But-ahh, I suppose it's grown old. I-I want to think for myself again.

Yes, perhaps that's it. Perhaps I needed to imagine I had companionship. And Stanley really did make for a wonderful companion, even if he was a fiction.

Stanley froze at that.

But-ahh, I suppose it's grown old. I-I want to think for myself again.

I want to go back to how it used to be. Yes, I can be on my own again. I can do it! I'll be stronger this time. I'll take care of myself. I don't need Stanley anymore. Oh, but he truly was so much fun to play with!

Stanley looked at him sad.

You know what? Since we're in the Memory Zone, how about one more good memory? Let's go back, just once, and give Stanley one more run of the office! And then, I'll retire him for good. I did enjoy telling a story-so very much. Okay, here we go.

(Stanley pov)

Stanley was sitting in his office, he just woke up from his nap, his nap was always about what the narrator said, and he knew the only ending he hasn't done yet is the art ending, the one that takes four hours to complete.

After the narrator reset him, he was told he had till he completed his last ending, and now a week from then, this was his last ending; the art ending.

Stanley knew he could die as many as he wanted, and complete as many till he decided to do the art ending..at least that's what the narrator thought.

So Stanley grabbed his reassurance bucket, now was when he really needed it.

And he walked out of the office, hearing the narrator talk his speech, but Stanley just ignored him, and went through the left door, making narrator happy.

(Narrator pov)

The narrator noticed Stanley hasn't even acknowledged him since the Stan figurines ending, he was starting to feel lonely, especially with Stanley not doing most of eny of the endings, all he ever did was hide in the broom closet and do the freedom ending, just to get back to the office, and do it all again.

He was starting to feel worried, and even wish he didn't set his mind to getting rid of Stanley, but he had to..but maybe till then, he should try to get Stanley happy, for his last moments.

(Third person pov)
The narrator had no idea Stanley has been, this whole time, using the white boards inside to track all the endings, to find the perfect one to escape.

(Stanley pov)
Stanley had realized the warehouse has a door open inside with a white void, so if he can just figure out how to get down, alive, then he could escape.

Then theirs the escape ending, but in order to do that, he has to distract the narrator, since he had a human form now.

Those to were the best two to get out, but for one, it might be easyer to find a grappling hook for..if their isn't one then he'll have to improvise.

He went to the freedom ending, once he got to the door, and saw it open, he felt happy, even though he knew that this wasn't the actual way out, the ending still did encourage him to find the real one.

Soon he responded in his office, and for the first time, he heard the narrator in the office with him, turning around, he saw him; he had yellow eyes, a suit with a tie that was yellow and shaped like a arrow.

He heard the narrator say: "hey Stanley..why do you keep doing the same ending, I'm not trying to get you to do the art ending.. but at least can you try some other ones?"

I shook my head yes, and showed one finger to hand sign 'one ending'.

Narrator narrowed his eyes, and sighed: "fine, that's a.. little better.."

Stanley smiled and walked past narrator, to the right door, surprising narrator, but he wasn't against it, especially with what Stanley has been doing for a week straight.

Once Stanley was at the warehouse, he looked down, scanning the room for eny ways out, he started with the railing he could jump onto to get a little lower.

Narrator fallowed him, but used his tie as a grappling hook to not be in danger of falling unlike Stanley.

Narrator asked confused: "you do know the door is to your right.. right?"

Stanley looked at him and shook his head yes, but stayed away from the door, and kept looking for a easy way down.

I noticed a stack next to me, and decided to jump for it, making the narrator yell: "Stanley!"

Stanley landed on it successfully, but narrator came down to, using his tie to grab ahold of Stanley's arm so he couldn't proceed to jump down, which Stanley knew he was only worried about him dieing to falling, but he didn't trust him right now, he just wanted out.

Stanley glared at narrator, making narrator confused: "you do know you could die to this, right?"

Stanley signed: "your willing to retire me, what's different?"

Narrator looked confused, and suddenly Stanley tried to pull the tie off of his arm, but it only tightened once narrator noticed.

Narrator said enoyed, and commanded: "your going back to your office, do the coward ending to pass time."

Before Stanley could argue with sign language, narrator snapped his fingers, and Stanley was reset, and back in his office.

he then heard narrator order: "now your staying in your office, till you sign you promise to not fall again!"

Then the door slammed shut, locking, making Stanley say in his head: "great..now I'm more trapped then before.."
