It's been an hour before Jennie stepped out and saw her Auntie and Lisa waiting for her
"Sweety, how are you?" Mrs. Manoban asked her but Jennie did not respond instead, she lowered her head and sobbed.
Mrs. Manoban hugged her tightly and comforted her
"They're going to wake up soon right, Auntie?
"Let's hope and pray, Jennieyah"
Her heart ache for this little girl. She's still young and her parents might leave her soon
"Lisa, come here. Take Jennie with you and go to the cafeteria"
Lisa who stood beside her mother extended her hand for Jennie to take. And the little girl took it then the two went to the cafeteria together
"Sit here, I'll go buy some food" Lisa said as Jennie obediently sat on the chair and wait
After a few minutes Lisa came back with a soda and sandwich
"Here, eat" she said as she handed Jennie the sandwich and soda. But the little girl could not control her tears from running down her cheeks.
"Stop crying. I know you are a strong kid"
"I am scared. I will be alone and I don't want them to go" she said in a cracked voice
Lisa looked at her and feel her heart ache for Jennie
"You are not alone. You still have us."
Jennie looked up "You're not going to leave me too?" She asked.
Lisa's heart broke. She felt like someone poured a bucket of cold water poured on her
"We are not going to leave you"
"Can you promise me?"
Lisa did not know how to answer
"Let's eat first" she changed the subject. Jennie nods and continue to eat her sandwich
After they finished at the cafeteria, they went back to the room and hand Mrs. Manoban one sandwich and soda
"Thank you, dear"
"Anyway, later I'll drive you guys home so you can rest and I'll come back here after"
After dinner, they went home and rest. Mrs. Manoban today's actual plan was to help Jennie see her parents one last time before they stop the life support. The doctor told her that they couldn't make it. But since Jennie obviously does not want to give up, the plan did not happen.

However, after three days Mr. and Mrs. Kim passed away. Jennie did not stop from crying until she fainted. After the day of the burial, Child Care Facility Centre Officers, visited Mrs. Manoban's home and asked her to allow them to take Jennie with them. Of course that time, Jennie threw tantrums and got hysterical because she does not want go with them. She wanted to stay. So, Mrs. Manoban explained to her that she will make a way to have the custody of her.
For the whole two months, Mrs. Manoban and Lisa got restless, they could not sleep well. And school vacation ended as the school started. Lisa got busier since being a freshman to a new school means new environment. No matter how tired she was, she could not sleep. She's thinking about Jennie. What she's doing now and how is she. The next day, she found out that her mother wasn't home since morning. So, she went to the living room and watch. After hours of watching she went to the kitchen to get some snacks. She heard a clicked and she saw her mother entered with a bag in her hand
"Mom, where have you been? And.. what's that?" Her mother looked at her and smile
"Come here now"
Lisa turn to look at the door, and there she saw the little girl who occupied her mind for the past months so she ran towards her and enveloped her to a tight embrace
"I missed you, Lili" Jennie said
"Shut up. I hate you" Lisa replied
"Now, Lisa. Carry her bag upstairs and help her unpack"
"What's happening? Is she staying with us for the mean time?" Lisa asked
"No, darling. I finally got the full custody of her. She'll be living with us permanently" Her mother answered
The two went upstairs and help the little girl unpack. After helping Jennie, she went to the kitchen and help her mother
"Tomorrow, Jennie will coming with us when I send you to school. I'll enroll her after"
"There's a school near my school, mom"
"Alright, I'll check it tomorrow"
At 9 pm, they went upstairs to rest and as usual, Lisa accompanied Jennie to her room
"When you were in the Child Facility, did you sleep alone?"
"No. I have someone to accompany me every night"
Lisa froze
"Who was that?"
"One of the staffs. They knew I couldn't sleep without someone beside me" she replied then yawned
"Okay let's talk tomorrow. Now, sleep" she covered Jennie's body with a blanket then wait until she fell asleep before she went to her own room and rest
