Creep of a Neighbor.

Ashley unlocked the balcony door and dragged you out with her, Andy still having a tight grip on your hand, showing no intention of letting go soon.
"Hmm...Can't really see squat from here."Andy pointed out as each of you attempted to lean over to try and catch a glimpse of the neighbor's window, but it was too far to see anything.

You gazed downwards to the street, contemplating whether to take a leap of faith to the neighbor's balcony.
It wasn't too far of a jump, you think you could pull it off. It is only the fourth-floor after-all! Worst-case scenario, you'd die a beautiful death and no longer have to suffer this dreadful starvation that consumed you daily.

Andy and Leyley looked at each other after they noticed you being in deep thought and followed your eyes. Knowing your dumbass far too well, the two of them, as if on cue pulled you away from the ledge.

"Don't even think about it, you moron." Andy said as his grip on your hand tightened. "I will consider it a betrayal on your behalf if you plummeted to your death and left me alone with this grumpy boy." Leyley added, pulling you closer to stop you from breaking away to do it anyway.

"Ahh, you guys are no fun..." You complained, you wanted to add a bit of spice to your life! Oh well, it looks like you will have to find something to cross over.
You looked around on the balcony and there was nothing useful. You glanced over to the ashtray sitting on the table, and man would you kill for a smoke right about now. When you got locked in here, you thankfully had a full pack of smokes with you that you shared with Andy.
Actually, you have exactly one smoke left, but figured you'd save it for when you're on death's bed, it shouldn't be too long from now.

The three of you went back inside the apartment to look for something to use as a makeshift bridge. You thought about the shelves in your room. The wooden planks fell off on you a couple of times, and they are just the right size to reach the other side.
You walked straight in the room and proceeded on removing the books and pulling on said shelf, but it wasn't budging!
Leyley grabbed on the other side and started to pull with you, and with on swift motion the plank finally popped off, but not before causing the other shelves to collapse and nearly fall on Ashley!
You didn't hesitate for a second as you quickly pushed her out of the way with your body, falling on top of her and protecting her from the falling debris.

"Oh crap! Are you girls alright??" Andy immediately crouched down to the two of you. Removing the books and the fallen plank from your body.
"I'm good! What about you Ley? You okay?" You cheerfully answered Andy, it honestly didn't hurt at all, it was more of a scare.
You looked down at Leyley and noticed that her cheeks took on a deep shade of red. She was freaking out at the fact that you were casually on top of her, as in extremely close! Your legs are touching hers, she feels her chest being crushed under you and she swears that even if it was for a moment, she felt your warm breath on her neck as you were protecting her from the falling books.

She was frozen in place, too flustered to even mutter a response to your question. You noticed her behaviour and felt your face heat up in embarrassment as you quickly got off of her.
"S-Sorry! I was totally crushing you!" You laughed off sheepishly, trying your best to avoid looking at her more. She was too cute!!!

Andy raised his eyebrow and helped his little sister back up to her feet, he looked at her just to noticed that she was still flustered, and straight off he felt envious. It irritated him that you were on top of her and not on him! Or even better the other way around, why couldn't he have been the one to save you by covering your body with his?
He mentally faced palmed himself for not acting quickly.

You eventually brushed off the awkward scene as you picked up the piece of wooden plank. "Well this should get us across! Let's get going." You cheered as you quickly walked out of the room, not waiting for them since you wanted to escape the situation and leave it in the past as soon as possible.
Leyley noticed your rush after finally calming down and giggled "Hehe aw~ She sooo has a crush on me!" She mainly told herself, but it was evident that she wanted her older brother to hear her and feel the sting of jealousy.

And that he was. Jealous. He glared at her, not even making a minimal attempt to hide his frustration. Meanwhile she smirked at him "Sorry to burst your bubble, my dear brother. But face it, I'm so irresistible! Y/n was going to fall in love with me eventually!" Ley beamed as she made way back to the balcony, back to you. Andrew followed close behind with a sour look on his face.
