"I found him." El's voice is what Marie hears first. She begins to open her eyes, and when she did she noticed she was in Nancy's basement.

"Where is he?" She could hear Mike ask, and Marie looked around again. She was laid out underneath what looked like a little fort, a blanket was above her, and she was covered up.

"Woods." She heard El's voice again, and she began to sit up. She could feel a burn in her throat as she swallowed, and Marie grabbed it when she was sat up all the way.

"Woods?" Max asked, and she was the first one to see Marie sitting up. She stood up and made her way over to the girl, and helped Marie up.

"He's with.... Will's mom." El continues to say, and Marie notices that she's got a blindfold on, and her nose is bleeding.

It was the same thing she had done in the pool all those years ago, when they were looking for Will in the other world. The night when they figured out that Barb had died, and that Will was in danger.

"My... my mom?" Will asked, and Max helped Marie over to the couch and helped her sit down. Marie smiled at the girl, but she also noticed that Max hadn't let go of her hand since she woke up.

"What are they doing?" Mike asks, and Marie looked at the children surrounding her, and they were so entranced by what El was going to say.

"Ill... annoy." She announces they state like two different words, and Marie gave a small smile.

"They're going to Ill-annoy." El says, and again Marie tried not to chuckle.

Mrs. Wheeler's voice echoed from the top of the stairs as she yelled down for Mike that it was time for breakfast, and Mike was fast to yell back that he didn't want it right now.

"Illinois? Illinois, like the state? The state of Illinois?" He asked his friend, and El shrugged. Like she would know what states were, she had spent the better part of her life trapped in a lab.

The kids broke up, Max and El went into the bathroom to wipe the blood from El's nose. Will had checked up on Marie, and she smiled when she saw him.

"Does it hurt?" He pointed to her throat and she nodded her head, touching the tender part of her body.

"Only when I talk too much." She almost sounded like a whisper when she talked to the boy, and he felt so bad for her. He had felt so scared when they saw Billy lay her down on the locker room floor, and the fear he felt when she wouldn't wake up, he never wanted to feel it again.

Marie and Will continued to talk while Mike and Lucas talked about the girls being in the bathroomm for too long, when the knock on the door happened. Marie looked up at the door, definitely expecting to hear Mrs. Wheeler's voice agai, but it wasn't.

"Not now, Mom!" Mike yelled, and Marie listened intently.

"Mike, open the door." Nancy's voice had all the kids in the room looking at one another, and Marie was the one who shot up the stairs to open it. Unlocking the door, she pushed it open and met eyes with Nancy and Jonathan.

Jonathan was shocked to see Marie, and so was his girlfriend. But they both looked down at her neck, the red and dark blue of Billy's hand print was bright against her tan skin, and Jonathan looked at her.

"I feel a lot better than it looks." Marie's voice was still somewhat cracky but she could form full sentences without having to take a break. She began coming down the stairs again, and the other two followed.

By the time the three older teens came down, El and Max were out of the bathroom and back on the couch. Marie took her seat back next to Max, and the young girl smiled at her.
