Dear Diary,

Today was a drag, just as I thought it would my first day at my new school. I was picked on from being from the country side, boys and girls calling me ugly, and teachers downing my knowledge just because I was home schooled. I tried telling my mom but all she said was that j have to cope with it for now. But at least school wasn't all that bad since today in English class we were assigned partners and I was paired with a really cute boy hopefully he doesn't down me like everyone else has.

That's all I have for now I'll write in you soon,

Kathryn Bates Whitestone.

I looked up from my diary and sighed. I really did hope that this boy was different from everyone else in the school. I looked at the alarm clock I had sitting on the dresser next to my bed.

"Six-thirty" I mumbled getting out of my roller chair and walking across the room to the door, "He should be here any minute now"

A few minutes pasted and looked back at the clock and saw that it was six- thirty seven on the clock. I sighed and walked over to my window and opened it, peaking at the view of the neighbor hood.

Before I left the window seal I saw a Lexus pull up into the driveway. The driver door opened and my partner rushed out. He ran over to the front door, tapping his foot as he waited for my mother to open the door.

When she did he ran past her but I'm pretty sure she told him to go right back outside and take his shoe off cause he back up back outside and took his shoes off.

He ran back inside eagerly and soon I heard a knock on my door. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the door, opening it to a panting brown haired, blue eyed boy.

"Sorry...if I'm...late..Kathryn" he panted leaning against the door frame. I felt a laugh and a smile escape from my lips. He looked at me and pouted, "It's not my fault my mother was being so overprotective!"

I just rolled my eyes and stepped off to the side to let him in my room. He looked around before walking over to my bed and sitting down.

I walked over and sat down next to him. This is when I finally noticed how messy he looked. His hair was scruffy and rough instead of its usual straight, he had tangled bangs that swooped over his left eye. His white shirt W's inside out and backwards, his skinny jeans were wet like they had just came out of the washer and the zipper was unzipped also.

"Well than shall we get started with our assignment" I said pulling out my reading text book from under the covers.

He nodded, "Sure"

Later,

I waved to Nick goodbye as he pulled out of the driveway. He honked at me and poked his head out the window, "Same time tomorrow" he yelled.

"Yeah" I yelled back.

"Ok than, see you tomorrow at school, Kathryn." he said turning onto the road and leaving.

I smiled and closed the door. I leaned against the closed door and gave into a love struck sigh.

"I think I've found my Prince Charming" I muttered under my breath twirling my finger into my blonde locks. I suddenly began humming the lyrics to the song I really, really, really, like you as I danced up the stairs to my room.
