Axel and Ripper.
Ripper and Axel.

Two people no one could see dating. They hated eachother.

Axel was dating (past tense) Nichelle.. And Ripper was well... farting? Everywhere?
Anyways- Axel would never find anyone like Ripper hot. Nope never

But- she was caught on occasion staring at him, by Bowie of all people.

"Oh? Girl do not tell me you're staring at Ripper." Bowie said dramatically. A fake gag sound after. "Yeah? I am. What about it?" Axel said, trying to keep up her mean girl demeanor. "Girl you cannot seriously like him. He's a fart box" Bowie said with a side eye. "And like- aren't you dating Nichelle?"

"No- she broke up with me after Julia told her she was getting hate for dating someone like me." Axel said, she went back to watching Ripper do something to try and impress Zee and Chase.

"Oh- sorry girl. That must suck.. But you're going after Ripper for your rebound? Hes dumber than a bag of rocks" Bowie responded. She chuckled "You can't be talking, you're boyfriend isn't any better" Axel responded. She nodded her head to where Raj and Wayne were doing some random challenge thingy they saw on tiktok, Wayne ended up flipping himself onto Rajs back-

"Okay- point taken" Bowie said and backed away, going over to see his boyfriend now.. Kinda scared that if he kept talking to axel she would brutally slaughter him.

"Finally" She muttered and went back to staring at Ripper. He looked back at her and rolled his eyes.

Season 2 of Total Drama Island had just begun and Ripper started acting weird around Axel..

Of course at this time she was over her 'little crush' and was in it to win it. She got eliminated because of his dumb decisions last season. She was determined to beat him this time. She was determined to prove to him that she was not as weak as he thought she was. She was going to win no matter what.

But now he was staring at her like she did to him and it was driving her crazy.

Why'd he have to like her now. Now she was just trying to win. She felt like she was back in the same spot she worked so hard to get away from. She was determined to win, no matter what. She knew he had underestimated her and she was going to prove him wrong.

That week.. He tried to sit with her at breakfast.. Kept asking her what she liked and it was driving her crazy She got frustrated and ignored him. He eventually stopped and went back to his own table. She felt relieved but she couldn't understand why he changed all of a sudden.
Then it hit her. He finally liked her like she liked him all those months ago back when total drama island reboot started. She felt her feeling for him rushing back.. And she didnt wanna let it show so she did what any respectable person would do...

She hit him in the face with his food and walked away.

The next day, They had a challenge where you had to guess what the persons answer was- A or B style. Axel came on the screen and Ripper was staring at it. Once it came to the surface she liked poetry- he ran off.

He was determined to write her something- something she'd hopefully love.

The challenge continued and he spent the day writing. 57 Drafts before he came across one sure to swoon Axel.

At that nights elimination ceremony, after they had voted Emma off. Ripper turned on the intercom.

Everyone was shocked except Wayne- he knew this was coming because well- Ripper kinda told him earlier.

"I'd like to read an original poem of love to a very lucky lady person" He said, starting off confident. Everyone held their breath as Ripper began his poem. Chris chuckled and rubbed his hands together- he knew this was going to end badly.

"On eagle wings in zombie brains, A pool of tears that never drains, Even cheeks squeezed tight cannot contain. A sweet smell of Love, My hearts Methane"

Axel blushed loudly as Ripper walked into view, holding the microphone.

"So I ask you Axel, Honest true and Plain.." He said while walking up. He stood eyelevel with her and smirked. "Can I rock your world.. Like a hurricane?" Ripper finished his poem and everyone on the team looked at him awkwardly. Damien covered his eyes and muttered "This is gonna be bad."

Axel stood up and shook. She'd never had anyone care about her this much before.. No ones cared about her enough to write her a poem.. To know her interests.

She grabbed his shirt and he flinches- believing he was about to get hit.

She kissed him. The team was stunned and Ripper's eyes lit up, as he realized he had just pulled off the most romantic gesture ever. He slowly closed his eyes.

Chris looked at them disgusted, "Oh! That is an image that will haunt my dreams."
