Minjeong was not used to this situation. She was in class without her best friend, Ryujin, and it was horrible. Ryujin didn't attend drama class because she got to take music instead. Minjeong, on the other hand, was too late for that since music was already full. So she got stuck with drama. And it wasn't her favorite.

If Ryujin not attending wasn't enough torture, not even her other friends, Yizhou and Aeri attended. Every single one of her friends took other classes. But of course, the girl she hated with passion was in drama class with her. Minjeong couldn't put her finger on why exactly she hated Jimin but she knew that the older girl hated her back just as much.

Aeri and Yizhou were their mutual friends and they have tried to get them on good terms but it never worked so far. No one around them understood their tension, but really, how could they? Jimin and Minjeong didn't even understand it themselves.

So yes, they were both here, in drama class, and the teacher was teaming people up so they could attend a talent show in school. Minjeong prayed that she gets put on a team with anyone but Jimin. Even the teacher knows about their distaste towards each other, so why would she even put them on the same team? Minjeong hoped Mrs. Lee wouldn't do that to her.

But her hope soon disappeared as she heard her name being called. "And Kim Minjeong with Yu Jimin and Ahn Yujin," Mrs. Lee read from her paper. "Please get to a table." Minjeong couldn't believe her ears. She didn't have a problem with Yujin, she was actually pretty cool but she couldn't do this with Jimin. There was no way she would survive a month practicing with that girl.

She got to a table and waited as the other two made their way to her. "Hey, Minjeong," Yujin greeted her with her infamous eye smile. Minjeong smiled and greeted her back.

When Jimin arrived though, she didn't say anything to them just grumbled something under her breath that neither of them could quite catch. "What did you say?" Yujin tried to ask.

"Nothing." Jimin said as if she was annoyed at the whole world. It wasn't Yujin's fault really, Jimin had no problem with her either but she couldn't help it. Her mood was just at an all time low. Maybe she was being overdramatic but she couldn't care less.

"Okay...so what do you guys wanna do for the show?" Yujin tried to break the ice once again. She knew this would be tough but she didn't think the atmosphere would be this tense.

"I don't care. The only thing I'm good at is singing so let's just sing." Jimin shrugged her shoulders.

"Whatever. You guys can sing, I'll just play the guitar for you," Minjeong started. "Yujin, you're a good singer too, right?" she asked the youngest among them.

"Yeah, I'm pretty good. We can do what you guys said, I'm fine with that." Yujin answered.

"Okay then that's settled, class is almost done, so I'm going to leave." Jimin huffed out and left.

"She's being a bit mean, no?" Yujin asked a bit sadly.

"It's not because of you, it's because of me. Don't take it to heart." Minjeong tried to reassure the younger.

"But what's her problem with you? And you don't like her either. Why is that?" Yujin was curious now, she was hoping she would get some information on the topic that no one knew anything about.

"I wish I knew. And I don't even know myself what the problem is." Minjeong answered briefly. Yujin just hummed after that, not knowing what to say.

The class ended soon after Jimin walked away so Yujin and Minjeong packed up too, and left. Minjeong immediately headed to her and Ryujin's usual place. It wasn't anything special really, just a table that they claimed as theirs in the cafeteria. Ryujin was already sitting there so Minjeong threw her bag on the floor and plopped down in her seat with a groan.

"What's wrong, Jeongie?" Ryujin asked as she saw Minjeong burying her head in her arms on the table.

"I got teamed up with Yu Jimin in drama class for the stupid talent show. Ahn Yujin is the third person in our team, thank god. At least she makes this bearable." Minjeong said, still not looking up.

"Look, Minjeong, you know what I think honestly? I think that you should at least just try to communicate with her. Like talk the problems that you have with each other out." Ryujin said.

"No, you don't get it. This is the thing. I don't know what the problem I have with her is. Plus there is no way I'll try to communicate with her. And you know what makes this even worse? Jaeha, Jihoo and Jungwon got teamed up. They will win it, one hundred percent." Minjeong grumbled, finally making eye contact with Ryujin.

"Oh my god Minjeong, you two are so stupid. And you need to put in the effort and trust me, it will pay off. Just try not to kill each other with Jimin." Ryujin said. Now she was the one getting frustrated at her friend's stupidity.

"Whatever. I don't really care about it anyway. I'll go find Aeri and Yizhou and bring them..." Minjeong trailed off mid-sentence as she looked to the table across them. "Right. They are hanging out with Jimin today. I forgot."

When Ryujin and Minjeong finished their lunch, they both went to the rest of their classes which passed by fairly quickly. Minjeong knew that she was not ready for the afternoon though.
