Chapter 6

It was a beautiful park of Lahore where it was heavily raining. There were no people who could be seen around despite one girl.
She was wearing a black anarkali dress with long hair left open, her both arms were extended out and she was moving in circles enjoying the rain.
Sabah loved rain since childhood. Drenching in the rain was her favorite thing to do, it filled her with excitement and happiness.
She suddenly stopped in her place and closed her eyes as if she was making a wish.
After few seconds she opened the eyes and turned back only to see a man smiling at her.
Burhan was never fond of rain but he was loving it at this moment.
Reason was this girl who filled his life with light and love.
He was wearing black clothes aswell while being completely drenched in rain.
They both were staring at each other lovingly, as if this rain was filling their lives with a fresh feeling of love and togetherness of a lifetime.
Their coincidental meetings had turned into planned ones since last few days.
They got to spend more and more time together.
Burhan held her hand in his one hand and held her face with his other hand as he got closer to her.
Sabah's heart started beating at an irregular rhythm with the feeling of his touch and closeness.
This feeling was completely new to her. To be this close to a man. To be in love.
“You are beautiful..”
She smiled at his compliment.
“Be mine.... forever..” his eyes were filled with love for this girl who had tears in her own eyes at this beautiful confession.
Burhan Elahi changed her life. He made her feel special in a way no one else could ever do.
“I love you Sabah...I have loved you since the moment I first saw you...”
“Burhan....I love you too..” she whispered as he rested his forehead against hers.
The rain was still falling with great intensity as these two beautiful souls confessed their love for each other.
“Never ever leave me Burhan....” she said as she rested her head on his chest hugging him.
“Never...my love...I promise you. We'll be together for our lifetime..” he promised her togetherness of a lifetime by hugging her back.
This was a very special moment for them. They just promised each other forever to be together in love.
Although they both were unaware of what the future holds.....

“We can't meet today Burhan. I told you my paternal aunt is coming to our house today..”
Sabah was trying to make him understand her situation on phone call.
“I don't care yaar...I miss you..” Burhan was not ready to listen to anything else as well.
“It's just about one day Burhan....we literally meet regularly..”
“One day makes a huge difference..”
Sabah laughed at his words..
Just the door bell rang..
“Ok Burhan love you...I gotta go...aunty is here...bye..”
And with that she cut off the call.
When she came downstairs her parents were already greeting her Naseema phupho (aunty) and Yasir, her cousin.
Sabah greeted them as well...
Naseema kissed Sabah's forehead out of love.
Sabah and Yasir were really good friends as well. He was 5 years older to her and always took care of her.
Everyone had dinner in a very peaceful environment but it was around 10 pm when Sabah felt like the room was spinning around her as she heard her parents talking to her Naseema phupho.
Naseema phupho was talking about Sabah and Yasir's marriage proposal.
Yasir was also sitting with them and looked quite satisfied with his mother's decision.
Sabah was disgusted since she always considered him a friend and nothing else.
How can he even think like that about her?
She locked herself in her room afterwards and excused her mother of a migraine when she came to talk.
That night Sabah decided that she has to talk to Burhan about their marriage now, it was time.
