He stood there, his fist still wanting to imprint all his emotions onto the wall. Anger coursed through him, even as a heartless chuckle left him. He couldn't believe it was happening. All. Over. Again. It must be his lot in life, to be cheated on by the women he chose to love. It wasn't like he had a choice in loving her. And yet still, he was the one left hurting, yet again, because of love. Maybe love wasn't for him, a mirage of hope that was meant to make him believe that he could have what so others had. Words of love meant nothing in the end, when the actions always ended with him on the short side of the stick. He looked around, her scent invading his senses. He couldn't be there anymore. 


He stormed out of Petco, the silence of the place that was so much a part of his past, where he first met her, and without even realizing it, fell deeper than ever. Ashe drove out, the thought of going back to his house where she had placed her touch, her scent on so many things, no he couldn't do that. He didn't' know how much time had passed, but the blurriness of the road soothed him. Enough to dull his mind so he could stop thinking about it, even if it was for only for a few seconds before the sting of betrayal spread like fire through him again. The last thing he remembered was flashing lights....
