The next day I longed for Louis to return home to tell me the news of how the signing up went. I hoped he hadn't chickened out. But one hour after I got home from school I met Louis strolling in the front door. "Did you do it?" Was the first thing that I managed to ask in a small voice. I am freaked out about drawing too much attention to myself now in the house. Who knows what dad will do? "I did it." Louis said slowly. "Auditions are in two weeks so lets start practicing." He said. I smiled at his dedication. I was glad that he would be living his dream. He may not have my parents' approval but I would always support him. "So what do you think you want to sing?" I asked. "What's your favorite song right now?" Louis asked "I want to sing something you like since you gave me the idea to join anyway." I really didn't want Lou to have to sing a song of my choice, as this was his dream and completely up to him. "Lou you don't have to do that for me." I said. "Yes I do Fiz. You barely get any attention around here and I think you deserve it. Please Fizzy, I will feel better if I sing something for you." I sighed, knowing there wasn't much I could do to change his mind. "I like Hey There Delilah by the Plain White Tee's." I said. Louis smiled "Me too. It's a good song. Thank you Felecite." He left my room and went to his own. I could hear through the walls that he was searching up the song on YouTube and singing along. I just hoped that our parents wouldn't find out about him.
Suddenly Lottie walked in the room. "Fizzy." She said, giving me a stern look. "Mum and dad said Louis couldn't sing so why did you encourage him to sign up? Don't lie to me, because I'm not deaf. Mum and dad were really mad last night. Louis kept pushing it and so he was taught a lesson. A violent one if you ask me. I wouldn't want you to have to learn that lesson." "You wouldn't tell, would you?" I asked, a little worried now. "I won't." Lottie said "But that doesnt' mean that you will not get caught. And when they find out, you're in for it!"
