Tonight

As I walk out on the cold stone street I began to shiver as the snow fell slowly down my face my above the knee dress seemed to become colder and colder. "Stupid job who where's dresses at 12pm In the middle of winter" i said to myself as I walked across the street entering Cee's casino in Italy.

As I walked through the door my red mini dress sparkled in the beautiful lighting I've never been here before the scenery was beautiful nothing like London or the UK for that matter I glanced across the room and made eye contact with ruby she's my cousin she also works here today's my first shift and she's is here to show me the ropes thank god 🙏🏻.

Background:
My mom sent me from London to Italy to live with my aunt without any explanation what if it's dad could he really be back I hope not those memories tore me apart.

As I walk across the room to speak to Ruby I feel my shoulder barge in to a tall stranger he looked down at me and said "watch were your going you've spilled my fucking drink all down my shirt". Before I had time to process what happened Ruby came over and said "sorry boss she's a little clumsy this is y/n my cousin" he looked down at me with a angry look on he's face and said "Are you going to apologize??" "No" I said as I slapped him across his right cheek "have some manners and don't ever everrr shout at me again" he came at me shouting as Ruby dragged me away.

"She's fired Ruby take her out the building" Ruby approached him and they talked quietly among eachother then she returned to me and said "Wth y/n you could have had us both killed". "By who him I laughed" "oh shit you don't know who is do you he Is the leader of Italy's biggest Mafia crew so do me a favour and DON'T SLAP HIM IN THE FACE AGAIN" she screamed.

At 3am I grabbed my coat and headed for the door as I waved bye to Ruby I once again found my body dropping temperatures. As I light a cigarette I walk near the alley about to turn the corner when I hear two men struggling one another I see the man dressed all in black reach for hes pocket then there was a loud bang he shot the other man. I panicked as he turned and looked at me noticing what I've just seen I start to run as he shouts "get her" to two hench guys in a car. As I run my heel snaps and I come crashing down on my face. "Please please no I won't say a word I didn't see a thing" I screamed knowing full well he knows I seen his face. Then one man grabbed me putting a cloth over my face and that's all I remember...

"What are we going to do with her we can't kill her right? She's well yanno a woman" one man said to the other driving then another man spoke even louder and said "she's seen to much she's got to die" the two other men looked at eachother and nodded.
