Pov Sage

I'm wearing a black top and a light blue skirt. I'm wearing my white all stars and my hair hangs loosely over my shoulders. I look at myself in the mirror. Me and Meri. Meri and I. Could it be? The two of us together? Oh well, we'll see. The bell is ringing. Since when does he ring the doorbell? And he's way early. Oh well, it will. I walk downstairs. I open the door. "Meri, you're too early, boy," I laugh. I look at the boy in the doorway. Wait a second. raven black hair, freckles, muscular and light green eyes. "Heyy babe" he grins. "Fox" I say. He grins and walks past me inside. I sigh and follow him inside. "Hey Meri" I hear Mom say cheerfully from the kitchen. "Hey ma'am," Fox says smiling and sits down on the couch. "Fox?" she asks and walks out of the kitchen. He nods and plops down on the couch. "What are you doing here?" I sigh and gesture to Mom to leave. "I'm back," he says. "I see that," I say and roll my eyes. He chuckles. He stands up and walks towards me. He pushes me against the wall. He puts his two arms next to me. "I thought maybe you and I" he mumbles and brings his lips to my neck. I push him away, which strangely enough I succeed in doing. "You and I are over. There never has been and there never will be." I growl. "Ohh come on" he says. "Can you go? Meri will come soon," I ask. "Meri you say" he says and his eyes immediately darken just a little bit. The doorbell rings. "That's where you'll find it," Fox growls and walks into the hallway. "Fox no!" I shout and run after him. He opens the door and in the doorway stands someone I would rather never have seen again. "Sage," says the man who likes to call himself my father. "Then who are you?" Fox asks in surprise." Get dark" I call to my father. He swallows but remains standing. "Sage who is that" Fox asks again. "Der father is an idiot and now fuck off," I hear Meri say from behind me. Phew he's here. Fox's eyes darken again. Before he can react, Meri pushes him out the door and then slams the door hard on both of them. I collapse against the wall on the floor. I drop my head into my hands. This was supposed to be a fun day. My date with Meri and then along comes the boy and man I wanted to avoid forever. Why is this happening to me? I think about everything that happened in the past and a tear rolls down my cheek. "Hee hee hee Sage" I hear Meri say worriedly. He lifts me up and gives me a hug. He wraps his strong and safe arms around me. I sigh slowly. Meri presses a kiss to my hair.

"Are you OK?" he asks after standing like that for a while. At moments like this I want to stay like this forever. I nod slowly. He lets me go. I look towards the ground. He pushes me against the wall and puts his arms next to me. "Come. We're going to make it a fun evening, okay?" he says. I smile and nod. Shall I do it? Yeah fuck it I just do it. I stand on my toes and quickly press a quick kiss to his lips. His eyes widen and he looks at me in surprise. "Thank you," I smile. "No problem," he smiles back. He takes my hand and we walk outside together.
