Emilia woke up and noticed that there was nobody next to her. She sighed , she spent more time alone than with her fiancé. Carlos spent most of his time on a plane than in their own home. Emilia couldn't even remember when was the last time they got on a plane and went on vacation together.

They both worked hard for their families but , they agreed to always make time for each other. Well at least that used to be their agreement. They always said they would never be that couple that let work get in the way. But , that seems to have been forgotten.

Emilia and Carlos grew up together. Their families have always been close friends. There families always hoped that the two would fall in love with each other in which they did. The pair worked for each of their families companies, they were Rich. Emilia designed clothes and Carlos designed buildings. Quite the duo you could say.

Emilia and Carlos were the two that liked each other but were to stubborn to admit it. Besides , they always feared ruining their friendship. Their friends saw how stubborn they were and decided to set them up. In which the set up work , the two confessed their love for each other. This happened when they were about twenty and twenty one years old. They've been together ever since , happily in love. So in love that last year Carlos decided to propose to Emilia. They were currently now in the middle of planning this huge family wedding. Which was something they always wanted and their families.

But, lately the spark hasn't been there.

Emilia did her morning routine and got ready for work. As she grabbed her purse she sighed once more at how empty this huge house felt. She got into her car and drove off to work.

Emilia was currently on her lunch break with her friends. How fortunate was she to be able to have her friends working with her. She's known them since forever , they were truly like family. In total it was five of them including herself Emilia , Nicole , Andrea, Sofia , and Clara.

" We're going out tonight , Andrea is going to meet somebody she's been talking to. You and Carlos should definitely come." Nicole suggested inviting their friend.

Emilia made a face looking over to the side.

" No me digas ? Carlos is yet again on another "business trip"." Andrea said as Emilia nodded.

" okay yea your coming with us , enough staying at home lonely when he's gone." Sofia said

" No I'll just stay home." Emilia answered.

" You are coming and it's final." Clara said sternly.

" In fact we can all get ready at my place and have a sleep over. It's been awhile." Nicole said.

The girls all nodded including Emilia. I guess this was it she was going out tonight.

The girls were currently at Nicole's house getting ready. There were clothing items flying everywhere. The girls were super indecisive on what to wear , especially Andrea who was already nervous.

" is this okay ?" Emilia asked as she walked into Nicole's room.

" okay ?! It's perfect !" Sofia exclaimed as the others nodded.

" Bueno pues estoy lista." Emilia said taking a seat on the bed.

" la que no quiera ir." Clara teased as Emilia flipped her off.

They all giggled. Eventually they were all ready , they all got into one car and made their way to a club in downtown LA.

They arrived at the club and Andrea began to panic at the sight of him.

" Where is he ?" Nicole asked

" He's up there with his friends." Andrea responded trying to compose herself.

The girls looked at each other at the instant mention of friends. Well except for Emilia of course she was trying to get Andrea to calm her nerves.

The girls made it to the VIP area and instantly a guy was standing already waiting for them. Andrea walked towards him and gave him a hug. He was super happy to be meeting her in person. They indeed would make a cute couple.

" Ladies this is Bernie." Andrea spoke introducing him as the girls waved.

Bernie was going to introduce his group but , the girls all froze in their tracks.

" Bad Bunny ?!" They said in unison.

" Yea he's my brother." Bernie said , clearly forgetting to mention that detail to Andrea.

The girls paid no mind to bad bunny because everyone knew he was engaged. Well except for Emilia. She listened to his music but , didn't keep up with the celebrity drama and news.

Everyone began to make small talk and suddenly they all went to the dance floor to dance with one another.

Emilia sighed and took a seat on the couch. Benito sat on the other end of the couch on his phone not saying a word.

" perdón que te moleste pero me puedes tirar una foto por favor ?" Emilia's sweet voice spoke to him.

He looked up from his phone and nodded.

Emilia stood up and walked towards the wall. He followed behind her. Emilia was stunned at how tall he really was. She handed her phone to him and she began to pose.

As she posed Benito noticed the huge rock on her finger.

" Felicidades." He said to her handing her back her phone.

" Gracias." She said looking at him in the eyes.

She sighed for what felt like the 100th time today as she looked once more at her ring ...
