I woke up this morning to 18 missed calls. 1 from my dad. 10 from my mom. 3 from Naomi. 3 from Arya. And 1 from Issac. I called my mom to find out what was happening. Last night, when Issac dropped me off at my sisters clinic, he ended up staying a while and applying for an internship there. It was late so I decided to just go home with my sister.

After the fourth ring, she finally answers. She lets me know that she's decided to have a housewarming party tomorrow, but she needed me to pick up a few things before coming inside. I agree and throw on some clothes from my sisters closet after brushing my teeth. It was 10 a.m, which meant my sister had already left. I go to her kitchen to make me a bowl of cereal. While I ate, I decided to call Naomi back.

"Heyyy girl," She answers

"Hey Nomi, you called?"

"Yea, me and Arya were planning on going to the mall today. Wanna come?" I agree, letting her know I had to stop at the supermarket for my mom. I give her the address, and she lets me know they'll be here in 15. I write a list of things my mom asked for and wait for them to come get me.

Once they got here, we decided to stop at a cafe to get breakfast since none of us had eaten. It was about a 5 minute drive. We decided to go in since it looked pretty cozy. We could still down and chill. We're online when I start to speak again.

"You guys should come to my housewarming party tomorrow." I say, smiling at the two girls. Arya nods her head before looking away to something behind here.

"So, who else is going?" asks Naomi

"Well, I just found out this morning, so I'm not sure yet. Most likely a bunch of unknowns from my neighborhood."

"Oh, she just sprung it on you, ok? Well, you should invite the guys they always know how to lighten up the mood." I giggle as Arya bumps into Naomi.

"Girl, are you ok? You've been so distracted lately." We turn to see what she's been staring at when my heart drops. Its..

Him

He was sitting with when of his friends when we locked eyes. Neither of us is breaking eye contact for mintues. It feels like i'm a child again. Waiting for my best friend to come over a hug me. No matter how long it's been or how much he changes, he'll always hold a special place.

12 years ago

It was the first day of kindergarten. It was my first day in Addersfield and i was alone. I knew no one, and I was too shy to speak to anyone. So there i sat at recess sitting alone by the tire swings when a boy with beautiful hazel eyes and messy long brown hair walked up to me. He wore a Spiderman hoodie and matching shoes. He sat down next to me and waved a Twix bar in the air.

"You some? " The boy asked.

I nodded my head as he went to give me one of the two in the pack. "I'm Elijah,"

"Celeste," I replied, still nervous.

"Celeste," He repeats. " I like your shirt," he says, pointing at my shirt. " It a star," He says giggling. '" I love stars,"

" Me too." I started. " I have this super cool pink star blankie. "

"AWESOME," He replies. We both laugh, spilling nonsense at each other. We talked about animals and toys and numbers and everything.

"These are my favorite, but i'm not allowed to eat them alone." He says, finishing his Twix. "My mom says they have too much sugar." I giggle as he continues.
