Chapter 1: Their different lives

In the past

In the big kingdom called 'Misted Kingdom' Kim Junho was the king for over a decade and her beloved queen, Queen Hanji, who became the king's wife for almost a decade. Now, they have a daughter, a pretty one. Their little princess is running around the castle, with the knights and butlers looking after her. Her father warned her, "Minju! Don't run around the castle!" The little girl giggled as she hugged her father's legs.

Junho gave her a big sigh at her cuteness. He picked her up, and placed her on the little throne. The little girl touched the jewelry around the throne, shining. "Princess, just stay here, alright? Don't be a stubborn princess. Got it?" The father ordered her daughter as the little girl nodded, "Yes papa."

Junho gave her a small smile as he turned to his butler. The butler told the king someone's trying to attack the kingdom. "What?! Attack?! Where?! Show me!" The butler nodded as the king followed him.

Meanwhile, the little girl was kicking her little legs in the air, she heard the conversation of her father and his butler. "Mama? We're under attack?" The little girl looked up at her mother as Hanji sighed. "Don't listen next time, dear. Alright?" Hanji kissed her daughter's forehead and the little girl nodded.

Meanwhile

At the dark emotionless kingdom called 'Psyche Kingdom' this kingdom is full of sadness, anger, hatred and crimes. Yes, there's no happiness in their world. Chaewon is the 'prince' since she really doesn't want to be a princess 'at all'.

The king's name is King Chaeji, he's the most evil and so-called 'Psycho' in their kingdom. The reason was he destroyed what's not yours. He's so strict to everything, even to his family, he curses when he wants to.

The little girl woke up because of the curses that her father made. The little girl twisted the door knob of her room, hearing his father shouting at his butler, "I said attack them! You piece of shit!' The little girl just watches their conversation start to get louder.

After that, the little girl went back to her room and covered her ears using her pillow. The conversation between her father and his butler lasts for 5 minutes.

In the present

At the Misted Kingdom, Minju's friend, Karina, lived in the palace for almost 2 years. She's also Minju's best friend. Karina knocked on the princess' door, "Min? Are you awake now?" Karina asked through the door. No one answered. Few minutes later, the door swings revealing a girl whose beauty is glooming and glowing. She's pretty. Their faces are so close as Minju immediately backs it off. "Rina! I'm so sorry!" Minju immediately apologized to her best friend as Karina chuckled, "It's fine, Minju. Let's go? Your father is waiting for you." Minju nodded as Karina led the way.

The two girls arrived at the dining area. Minju and Karina bowed to the king and queen. "Morning father, morning mother." Minju kissed her parents' cheeks as the royalties smiled at their daughter. "Morning your majesty." Karina bowed too. Minju and Karina took a seat on the chair. As they started their day with a healthy and delicious breakfast.

"Sweetie? I have a question. Are you willing to take my position after I leave the kingdom?" The queen asked her daughter. The king and Karina looked over at Minju. Minju felt a rush of anxiety and nervousness. She felt like everyone was looking at her. After that, Minju cleared her throat, "Of course mother.. I will take your position in the future.." The whole family smiled as they heard words from Minju. "That's good Minju." The queen smiled as Minju smiled back.

Well they truly have a healthy and fun breakfast.

Meanwhile at the Psyche Kingdom..

The king curses at the king again, but this time it's to the knight. "Fuck off! Take it seriously!!" Chaewon just stares at the two people who are arguing. "Father, I commend you to not shout to your knight like that." Chaewon said in a cold and serious tone. King Chaeji looked at his daughter and madly stabbed the scepter on the floor, he's so angry about his daughter. He grabbed his daughter's chin and gritted his teeth, "Don't tell me what to do! Got it?!" He shouted at his daughter's face as Chaewon just simply nodded.

King Chaeji deep sighed as he said to his daughter, "Go back to your room. I'll call you if your sword training starts." His tone is in mono and emotionless. Chaewon just follows his father's command. Now, Chaewon went back to her black and green bedroom as she flops on the bed, feeling the cold temperature of her blanket.

The two girls in the different kingdom were resting on their bed. Minju is facing on the right side, while Chaewon is facing the left side. Just imagine, they're in the bed, and the two are facing each other.
