My name is Atlas Jacob, and today is the first day of december. I'm really looking forward to the Christmas break so I can finally rest.

I heard the bell ring which means it's lunch time, I go to my usual spot with my friends to eat with in the canteen.

"-Las? Atlas hellooo? Are you even alive right now?"

"Maybe he's hypnotized!"

"Shut up Jake that's impossible"

"Huh?" I say as I finally snap out of trance, "finally your alive, I thought you had a hangover to be honest" Kair said "Shut up, I don't even drink" I replied back "well anyways, did you guys hear?" Jake asked in curiousity. Ugh what is it now, he's always on about rumours that probably aren't true I thought to myself "Rumours say that Rei doesn't celebrate her birthday, I don't know why but it's kinda sad" Jake says in a sad tone. "WHAT!?" I say out loud jumping out of my seat. "jeez dude why are you so worked up, Isn't she only your friend?" Aaron says while smirking. "of course she is but why did no one tell me this until now!?" I say in a rage and panick, jeez now I have to think of what to plan!!! ASAP.

A few hours pass by and I rush immediately home to find a plan on what to do. I go change and see my older brother Nate cooking food, "Where's mom?" I ask. "She's out late working again, she won't be back until tomorrow morning" he says, well this isn't old news, this always happens. I sigh and eat with my older brother like usual and go upstairs, as I went to my room I felt my eyelids get heavier and I feel myself fall into slumber but then I remembered something that made my eyes open quickly.
