Chapter 1: Affairs(Livia)
"Secrets and Lies Kill Relationships. No Matter How Careful You Are, You Will Get Caught."
All it takes is one little mistake to create something worth fearing. However, the one being feared isn't you, It's me. Be wary of how dangerous this creation can truly be until it's too late.
Livia was a woman of a high stature that harbored a dark secret. She's had an affair during her marriage to her husband, Damon. The extremity of the issue is that this little affair resulted in her falling pregnant with her very first child. She tried her best to cover up this little "issue" by outright lying to her husband for the entirety of her pregnancy. She wishes she could forget the night she'd made the choice to defile the sanctity of her marriage by sleeping with another man behind Damon's back, but there isn't anything that she can do about now. She just silently hoped that the child would bear a near identical appearance to her instead of their father.
Flashback to a few months prior
Livia had found herself sitting on a stool at the bar after getting into an argument with her husband over his choice of career. Her hands held the glass tightly as the bartender refilled it for the tenth time that night. Her mind was hazy and she felt a fuzzy feeling inside. It was clear that she was completely wasted but still continued to drink regardless of that fact. The alcohol running through her veins made her feel more relaxed and think less and less about her entire fiasco with Damon when she stormed out of the house in an angry huff. The bar music was playing like a low buzz in her ears as she stumbled around and bumped into a random man. The man had purple hair and his build was quite effeminate. He was wearing clothes that would more than likely be considered women's clothing.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." She apologized profusely, before the man turned and she could properly see his face. His eyes were a piercing green in stark contrast to her dull blue eyes. The man revealed his name to be Raine as he simply nodded to accept her apology, offering his hand to help her back to her feet. Livia, being in a completely drunken haze accepted his hand and once she rose to her feet, she could barely keep herself upright and clung to Raine as support to prevent anymore stumbling around, her hand placed firmly around his slim torso.
"So, what's a little lady like you doing in a bar this late at night," asked Raine, his lips curving into a small smile as he looked down at the woman who was quite literally attached to him at the hip, her eyes lightly shut. At first, Livia didn't want to tell the truth of why she was in a bar to a random stranger she'd just met two minutes ago, so she just said she got into a fight with someone and ran off to clear her mind. He looked at her, seemingly suspicious of how honest she was being with him, but disregarded it because he can't tell what and what didn't happen in her life. He just smiled down at her and offered to take her back to his place until she was stable. Despite this being a bad idea because she was already married, Livia quickly agreed to the deal and held onto Raine as he led her out of the bar and to his car.
