So I found out about this pretty recently, I saw some people doing it on Youtube and I thought it would be fun. I'm gonna do it 5 prompts at a time because otherwise each chapter would be too short

The prompt list I'm using is from House of Exile on Pinterest

Day 1: First song you listened (to)

Oh, like the first first was probably Shake It Off when I was 4 years old. My family was playing it in the basement and I was listening and watching the music video, which I thought was soooo cool back then(don't get me wrong, the mv is still very cool, but I thought it was even more so when I was a child)

4-year-old me had absolutely no clue who Taylor Swift was, but I remember totally loving the song :)

Day 2: Favorite from Debut

Ooh, I haven't listened to all of her debut, but I'm gonna say Mary's Song(Oh My My)! It is sooo good, and it's like I'm taken to another world whenever I listen to it. It was straight-up my favorite TS song for a while! It's criminally underrated, and I really think that if you listen to it, you'll have another song to add to your "awesome songs" playlist!!

Day 3: Song w/ your favorite quote

It is physically impossible to pick one so I made a list(12/13/23 Edit: I managed to eliminate some)

- Castles Crumbling "And here I sit alone, behind walls of regret. Falling down like promises that I never kept" She is so good with metaphors, istg-

- Cruel Summer "Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes" Cruel Summer is so popular that people kinda forget the meaning of the lyrics, but honestly, I think this lyric is amazing, and specifically a reflection of the way life seems to like to shit on us most of the time-

- illicit affairs "Take the words for what they are. A dwindling, mercurial high... A drug that only worked the first few hundred times" Yeesh, and it's really true

- invisible string "Cold was the steel of my ax to grind for the boys who broke my heart. Now I send their babies presents" Shows really well how she grew up over the years. She bears grudges sometimes but she realizes when she can let it go

- Ronan "Flowers pile up in the worst way, no one knows what to say about a beautiful boy who died" it's the flowers piling up for me, that's when I realized what this song was about-

Day 4: Song for a rainy day

I knew immediately when I saw this prompt it was gonna be something from folklore or evermore! I think I'm gonna say epiphany, it's so beautiful and sad and it's absolutely perfect.

Day 5: Song that makes you dance

For this one, totally I Can See You!!! I'm not good at dancing but I do kinda have a move that I specifically reserve for when I Can See You comes on lol
