Having your friend of a decade move away is not easy, I'm hurt beyond but I have to understand she needs to find greener pastures...... So today is report day then tomorrow is the year end award ceremony which we will only find out today ukuthi who are specially invited together with their parents

She wakes out of kitchen
I go to the outside kitchen prepare to make the porridge..... At least only a year left for me to get out of this hell hole

Few hours later I am done with everything I prepare to go to school I do my hygiene process.. Then opt for a mint green mini dress(don't come for me parents will have to understand ngimncane ke mina habe) white knot slides and I accessorise with a gold necklace and a white handbag I then tie my goddess braids into a bun

As I am about leave I go to my parents

Okay you are probably wondering why am I wearing a casual outfit so Thi is taking me out that's why but after we fetch our reports... I get to school find Thi waiting for me at the gate

She is wearing blue denim shorts, a white tank top with white converse Sneakers and she accessorised with a white cap and white handbag

Lets get this done... As we walk to our class teacher's office
Me: go in first

She comes back screaming... And I join her I am so happy for her she got 5 distinction in LO 87%, History 81%, IsiZulu 90%, CAT 85% and maths 89% the rest of her subjects she got 70s.. she is also holding an invitation to the award ceremony tomorrow
me: Thi I am so proud of you mngani [tears falling out] I love you chommie
Thi: I love you too mngani... now go fetch yours
me: Mngani I am scared
Thi : hha go marn
me: okay
I walk in and I am welcomed by a huge smile from Mrs Makofane well she says we should call her miss Lesedi so yah
miss Lesedi : here comes my star
me: good morning mam
miss Lesedi : morning my baby why do you look nervous
me: I am
miss Lesedi : don't be my baby you just broke a grade 10 record.. I have been teaching this grade for 13 years and never has this happened [she says handing me my report]
me: eh oh my God [tears falling out]
miss Lesedi : distinctions in all 9 subjects .....here you go see tomorrow my love
Me: bye bye mam
I walk out and Thi comes to me and she takes my report and scream
Thi : ahhhhh mngani 9 distinctions
Yep 9 distinctions feels so unreal well it's 93% in Accounting, 97% in mathematics, 84% in Geography, 99% in English, 87% in CAT, 91% in IsiZulu, 89 in LO, 94% in Life Sciences and finally 92% in Physics
