Yeonjun was in the kitchen, carefully breaking down a chocolate bar into pieces. He then placed the bowl of chocolate onto another bowl containing hot water, stirring it until it gradually melted.

As he focused on the task, his mind drifted back to when Mingi explained the troubles caused by the charm during the first exam.

All the troubles were caused by the charm. I caused Soobin so much trouble. Yeonjun's vision blurred as tears welled up. He didn't realize that his efforts to support Soobin with love had become a burden.

I hope Soobin will pass the second exam to enter Seoul National University. And Soobin's family's dream will come true. He swiftly wiped away his tears, determined to finish the chocolate cake. After almost three hours, Yeonjun carefully wrote 'Congrats on passing the exam for Seoul National University' on the small chocolate cake he had just made.

I know it's too early... But a day after the exam... On Valentine's Day, I will give him this. He smiled to himself, gently packing the chocolate cake with a red box and placing it in the fridge.

The fateful day slowly arrived.

"I'm going..." Soobin grabbed the door handle but later felt uneasy, so he turned back, only to see everyone looking at him worriedly.

Soobin sighed, "But you all don't have to come and say goodbye."

"But we're so worried..." Mrs. Choi made a thin, tight-lipped expression, avoiding Soobin's eye contact.

"Do you want me to drive you?" Mr. Choi asked, reaching for his car keys.

But before that, Soobin managed to stop him. "I'm fine. My leg is better now. So I'll get going now."

With that, Soobin swiftly left without looking back.

"Please be careful! Goodbye," Mrs. Choi waved.

"Goodbye..." Yeonjun mumbled. Despite not bothering Soobin or giving him a charm, he still worried for him. Mingi's words—'It was a disaster. I've never seen Soobin like that. Even though it was because of that charm...'—lingered in his mind.

Without a second thought, Yeonjun quickly ran up to his room and grabbed his coat and scarf.

Seeing Yeonjun hurriedly coming back down the stairs while trying to wear his red coat, Jin called out to him, "Yeonjun?"

Understanding why his father called out, Yeonjun replied, "I'm going to watch Soobin until he enters the gate of Seoul National University. I'm so worried that something might happen."

After tying his shoelaces, he quickly ran off. "Goodbye!"
"Goodbye!" Jin and the others slowly waved back, trying to process what happened in the blink of time.

Yeonjun quickly ran towards the road they used to take to school. Spotting Soobin walking a bit ahead of him, Yeonjun decided to quietly follow, sometimes tiptoeing, turning away when Soobin glanced back, attempting to pretend he wasn't Yeonjun.

"It's so obvious that you are following me," Soobin finally stopped and remarked. Yeonjun turned back again, running towards Soobin's side. He pulled down his scarf, revealing his mouth, and sheepishly explained why he was following.

"I wanted to see you until you arrived at the front of Seoul National University."

Sighing a little, Soobin resumed walking, leaving a dumbfounded Yeonjun behind. Unaware of the situation, Yeonjun stood still. A chilly breeze surrounded them, making Yeonjun rub his palms.

Realizing Yeonjun wasn't following him, Soobin turned around and returned to where Yeonjun was standing. He then positioned himself in front of Yeonjun and said, "Why are you still here? I don't want to be late for the interview exam," avoiding eye contact.
