Farjaad marched into his room, fuming. He glanced at the mirror in his closet as he started taking out a pair of clean sweats to change into. The sight of the massive ubtan stain smeared across his chest only made him angrier. He grimaced remembering the events of the night, his pants once again feeling tighter, he sighed, exasperated.

She stood behind him, observing him, almost mockingly as he painstakingly washed off the ubtan from his face and shirt, his entire chest visible through the drenched white fabric. He could see the laughter barely contained behind her lips through the mirror, a stark contrast to the scowl gracing his face. Every now and then, he tilted his head to look at her, he was incredibly irritated. Irritated at his clothes being ruined, at being embarrassed, at the thought of whether he would wake up with an allergic reaction the next day...he looked at her again...irritated at how she looked absolutely divine in yellow, at the way her dress matched the paste he was wiping off his face, at how plump her lips looked...Irritating.

He wondered if he just saw her smirking at him, and she did it again. He wasn't imagining things, she was getting a little too confident for her own good, and he was alarmed at why he seemed to like the way her lips turned up that way, why he found it...no, absolutely not, he thought.

He would be lying to himself if he didn't admit that he was taking his sweet time washing off, the glances he was stealing at her were holding him to the ground far longer than necessary and for some odd reason, his feet really did not want to move until he finally willed himself to turn the tap off. Farjaad walked towards her in slow and long strides, extending this moment further more than he already had. She had a towel in her hand, waiting for him, the expression on her face telling him how unnecessary she found this chore. She fluttered her lashes at him as she handed him the towel and he felt a peculiar throbbing below his abdomen.

She was driving him up the wall and absolutely insane.

He snatched the towel from her trying to calm himself down, telling himself he was overwhelmed with anger at the minx in front of him, that this was most definitely anger and absolutely nothing else. He dried off his face and held the towel for a minute longer, looking at her. Really looking at her.

She had eyes that were deep enough to drown in, he saw himself slipping, her cheeks were tinted pink and he didn't know whether the blush was courtesy of his unwavering gaze or whether it was applied on strategically. Her lips were pressed together, as if waiting, waiting for what he too wished he could pour into her. Her hair in loose curls cascading down her shoulders and he wondered what it would feel like to run his hands through her strands. He felt the problem in his pants severe the longer he kept looking at her and she shifted her gaze from his eyes to the towel in his hands.

Defensively, he immediately jutted his hands forward, pushing the towel towards her before her eyes went any further down. He noticed she seemed to take her time as her fingers grasped the other end of the towel, holding it in place, her dupatta ever so dramatically falling off her shoulder, exposing the skin above her collarbone, he felt the thin chiffon of her dupatta brush against his hand, her fingers tugged on the towel, catching him off guard. His heartbeat was loud in his ears as his fingers gently touched hers, gooseflesh peppering his skin, he wished he could grab her hand, could place his lips on the exposed part of her neck.

She was unforgiving in the way she overtook his senses.

Sooner than he truly wanted, he let go of the towel, scrunching his brows and making sure that his face did not give away what he was really thinking about. He walked off again, trying his best to maintain composure, not before he turned around and saw her waving the towel in front of her face, scrunching her nose, and throwing it back on to the floor. Not before he also noticed, once again, the way her dress seemed to hug her in all the right places.
