"Go on, then."

Gloria Manalo swallowed hard as she twisted her pen between her fingers. Her teeth were biting into her lower lip. She was sure she was nearly drawing blood, and she started to feel hot all over, as if the temperature in the room rose with a thousand degrees in this single moment he dared her to write down every word he said, to describe every move he made. The sound of a piece of clothing hit the ground, and she was curious, she wanted to lift her eyes and devour him mentally, because he dared her to.

"Write down what I'm doing. Isn't that what you're here for?"

His voice was laced with a Spanish accent, deep, warm, matching his stunning, pure cacao eyes when she finally got the courage to look at him again. He towered over her, his skin glistening with a layer of sweat, biceps bulging when he moved his hand through his thick, raven hair. Yes, that was exactly what she was here for, to write down what he was doing, what he said, how he lived. All her journalist colleagues had been so jealous of her that she was allowed to do this, but she rather wanted to disappear on the spot.

"Pick up the pen, Gloria."

There was no word on the paper yet because there were no words to describe Carlos Sainz right now, so close to her, heat radiating off him, the challenging look in his eyes and the small grin on his full lips, shirtless, muscles all in her face. God, he was going to finish her before she finished her job. Yes, in all ways you can think of.
