𓆗 CHAPTER VI - SNAKEBIT 𓆗

• NARRATOR POV •

Y/N awoke to the sound of a gong from the room across him, he scowled and got out of bed. He rubbed his head and walked into the room of noise, turns out it was Sensei Wu's little 'alarm'.

"In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity." Wu said, silently greeting Y/N as he walked into the room.

"Okay okay, we're up. But if you want us to reach full potential, shouldn't we at least get a full night of rest?" Kai asked with a yawn.

"You call that rest?" Cold quipped as he stretched his back, "I think my back has more lumps than the mattress.

"We were up so late, talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters." Jay yawned, as he walked over to the sink with his toothbrush, "I guess we lost track of time. Ever since the Serpentine burned down our monetary, I'm just glad we have a roof over our head.." Jay turned the tap on, and started using his toothbrush only to spit out dirt.

"What is our lesson today Sensei? Mastering the strike of the Scorpion? Or perhaps the grace of-" Zane questioned, before he fell through the floor and began coughing.

"I think today's lesson would be chores." Wu proclaimed.

"Chores?!" The Ninja yelled in sync and utter disbelief, as Y/N perked up a little. He was a slight fan of redecorating and renovating.

"Ninja fight, Sensei! They do not clean." Cole complained.

"In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from. And this place is a long way from becoming a Ninja headquatres. I expect things to be spotless when I return. And put your backs into it!" Wu ordered, before he banged the gong again and left.

"This place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up.." Kai grumbled.

"Unless we put more than our backs into it, huh?" Jay suggested.

-MONTAGE-

"NINJA, GO!" Cole yelled, as he span around the room using Spinjitzu, taking out the rubbish and putting it outside the Bounty.

Zane threw his pair of Shuriken against the wall of the bounty, freezing it before Kai used his sword of fire to melt the ice, cleaning the dirty off of the walls.

"NINJA GO!" They both yelled, before spinning around the room to melt the rest of the ice.

Later, Cole and Kai were fixing up the electrics of the Destiny's bounty, as Jay pulled a sheet off of a breaker box, and used his nunchucks of lightning to fix it.

Y/N was stood in the bridge of the Bounty, using the massive back wall as a canvas to paint a mural of the Ninja, him, Nya and Sensei Wu. He left a few gaps because he had the feeling he'd need them.

Nya and Sensei Wu walked into the room to find the Ninja and Y/N playing video games on the games console, sat on pillows on the floor.

"What took you so long?" Kai asked as a joke, turning to face the two.

"Wow. This place looks amazing! You guys did all this?" Nya queried.

"Ninja don't just fight, Nya. We clean." Cole asserted.

"Oh, you have exceeded my expectations.." Wu stated, before a car horn was heard, "But can you keep it up?"

"Looks like we're about to have some visitors.. And loud ones at that." Nya commented.

"Ugh.. That's our parents." Jay sighed, standing next to Y/N, "Please, if they start yapping, just don't get them going okay? They don't know when to quit. And if you start talking, then they'll start talking. And suddenly, half the say is gone before you know it ends.."
