eli pov:

I'm in my bedroom sitting in my bed and watching TV.

my cell phone vibrates on my bedside table and I grab my phone.

cecily: Remi is drunk, can you pick him up?. Creigh doesn't answer (probably with Annika), Landon is with Mia, and Brandon is visiting his parents and can't come.

He ordered 2 drinks but I told the bartender to stop the order.

On the way to the car Remi keeps cursing but I just ignore it. People are looking at us but make room because I'm Eli king.

I open the passenger door and push Remi into the seat. He's quiet now and won't even make eye contact.

I walk to my side, sit in my seat and put on my seat belt.

'Put on your seat belt' I order Remi.

Once again Remi doesn't answer and ignores my command, seriously what is wrong with him.

I take off my seat belt, lean over him and put the seat belt on for him.

Remi just stares out with his arms folded, like a toddler who wasn't given a toy.

I put on my own seat belt again and start the car.

It's quiet, neither of us talking. The only sound in the car is the radio.

I stop in front of the house, only me and Remi are home today, while the others are somewhere else.

I get out of the car and wait for Remi who just stays seated. I sigh, I'm so close to punching him. I walk to his side and open the door.

'Get out of the car' I order.

He remains seated, still not looking at me.

'I'll count to three and then you're out, okay?'

i'm really starting to lose my patience, where is my funny sweet annoying friend.

He's still not out of the car.

He takes off his seat belt and gets out.

I close the door and walk to the door while holding Remi because he is staggering.

I let us into the house and sit Remi by the chair.

He still hasn't said a word and I'm starting to worry, he's never been so quiet.

I fill a glass with water and give it to Remi.

He doesn't fight this time and drinks the glass of water.

'What's wrong?' I ask.

Remi looks up and I see his face twitch

'Nothing' he answers.

I don't believe him and raise an eyebrow.

'What, I was having a good time at the party until you walked in and ruined it'.

Remi puts down the glass and walks to the stairs.

'Not so fast' I shout, I walk towards him and stop in front of him.

Remi makes a face that says 'yeah, I don't believe a word you say'.

'Because no one cares about me, it's always "shut up Remi, you're not funny, you're annoying, Remi" everyone hates me' I see tears in his eyes but he pulls his head down to hide it.

'hey, look at me' i put a finger under his chin and lift his head. "We care about you Remi, you are a great friend, and you're funny sometimes'. I see a small smile appear but he still seems a bit insecure 'you're a good guy Remi, you always make sure we have a good time, you throw the best parties and you're the happiness of the group. if anyone can cheer us up it's you, okay?'

He nods, I don't do this often but I pull him into a hug.

Remi is in shock for a while but hugs me back. and put his head in my neck

I go back downstairs to fill a glass and grab a pill for a headache and go back to Remi's room and put it on his bedside table.

I close the door and go to my room.

I message Cecily that Remi is home and go to sleep.
