~A few weeks later~
"Ughh, we have soo much homework" Abigail groaned.
"Why are you even complaining, it's not like you do any" Adeline rolled her eyes.
"So what? It's still painful to listen to them going on and on about this exercise or this sum or some kind of other nonsense"
They went downstairs for lunch.
"Oh Abby, I forgot to tell you."
"Forgot to tell me what?"
"We'll have some of my new friends joining us for lunch."
"Oh."
Abigail felt a bit disappointed.
"There they are! Over here!" Adeline called out, waving at them.
"Hey Adeline!" There were 3 people in the group, including Adeline's cousin.
"Hi guys! This is my bestfriend Abigail. Abby, this is Danielle, Tiffany and of course you know Amy."
"Hey" Abigail said monotonously.
Adeline elbowed her and hissed "Why are you being rude?"
They sat down and Abigail felt ignored. Adeline chatted with Danielle and Tiffany, and Amy tried to talk to Abigail.
"Hey?"
"I'm not feeling so good"
"Oh, um"
"I'll catch up with you guys later"
Abigail walked off.
