⚠️TW: MENTION OF SUICIDE⚠️Rooftop hero
Ship: SunsunSunghoon was thinking about ending his life on the roof, but Sunoo showed up. Will he be able to stop him, and will he bring some happiness in
Sunghoon's life?
Sunghoon felt like life was always tough. Even though he was doing well in his last year of school, his parents' constant pressure made every day a challenge. The stress even led to panic attacks, making it hard for him to enjoy his accomplishments.
At school, Sunghoon wasn't popular, and he didn't understand why. He wasn't bullied, but he had no friends either. He just wanted someone to talk to and trust, but he just felt completely alone.
He couldn't even remember the last time he laughed or smiled. What was there to be happy about? Sunghoon felt like he had nothing.
While he might have a good job in the future, he questioned if that alone could bring him happiness. Money wasn't everything, and he longed for a life filled with meaning and real connections.
He didn't have any brothers or sisters, so his parents were always with him, leaving him with no personal space. Life just felt joyless for him.
One day, during a school break, Sunghoon stood on the rooftop, feeling overwhelmed by the pain and loneliness. He thought about putting an end to it all.
Sunghoon made his way to the end of the roof. First, he admired the view, taking in the vastness of the sky. Then, he looked down. The height was overwhelming, and he knew there was no way he'd survive the fall if he jumped.
He hesitated, questioning whether it was worth it, but his thoughts didn't stop him.
As he prepared to go over the barrier, a voice from behind startled him, "What are you doing there?"
Sunghoon recognized the voice immediately. It was Sunoo, another boy from his class. He turned to see him standing there, looking concerned.
"Just go. It's none of your business."
Sunoo shook his head, "I can't just leave you here. I'm worried about you."
Sunghoon insisted, "I said, leave me alone. Why do you even care?"
Sunoo pleaded, "Just please come down from there. This is not what you really want, trust me."
Sunghoon questioned, "Why should I? What difference does it make?"
Sunoo took a step closer, his eyes filled with genuine concern. "I know life can be tough. I've been through my struggles, too. Talking to someone about it helped me more than I thought it would."
"You don't have to face everything alone. I'm here, and I want to help. Ending it like this is not the solution."
Sunghoon hesitated, torn between the darkness in his mind and the genuine concern in Sunoo's eyes. A part of him wanted to open up, to let someone in, but the walls he had built were high. Very high.
Sunoo pleaded, "Please, let's talk about it. You're not alone in this."
Sunghoon was too stubborn to let him in. He shook his head, his voice shaky as he insisted, "Just leave me alone."
