She sits there alone, thinking.
A million thoughts go through her mind.
She just wants an easy way out.
To live or die?
Every time the loud voice reaches her ears, she just wants it to be over.
Each day is like a battle being fought, struggling to get through.
"I've done it before, I can do it again." She tells herself.
What has she done?
She's survived, without a scratch on her.
Until now.
For ten seconds there is something else for her to think about.
Thump. Thump.
The pulse, blood making it's way through her body.
Looking in the mirror at herself, she sees how hopeless she looks.
10 seconds.
"Stop" he shouts,
9 seconds,
He runs closer, his feet pounding on the floor with every step.
8 seconds, 7seconds,
She's down, feeling lost.
6seconds,
He's by her side, saying undecipherable words.
5seconds,
She reaches out to squeeze his hand.
4seconds,
He's on the phone
3seconds,
Ring, ring, ring
Where's it coming from? The phone or her ears?
2seconds,
So many emotions cross his face.
1second,
She will never forget her love for him.
Her last breath.
Gone.
