Chapter 17 Something Fishy

A few days have passed by doing nothing but stuck in bed doing homework since I'm home schooled and Joshua been working hard till eight or nine at night.

Sometimes it could be later then that. Once he got home he went straight to the bathroom to take a shower, while he is in the shower I make him dinner or something quick to eat.

After he is cleaned up he comes down stairs and eat what I can heat up from dinner. While he eats, he also does his homework.
Joshua, me ,and Chelsea started home schooling four weeks ago.

I was in the kitchen making me a sandwich when I heard the front door open and footsteps walking my way.

"What are you doing out of bed baby you know you're not supposed to be on your feet unless you have to go to the bathroom." Joshua said
walking into the kitchen.

"I was just hungry and Chelsea's out with Roy again tonight it's alright. What are you doing home so early I thought you wasn't supposed to be home till eight o'clock tonight." I said spreading mayonnaise on my bread.

"They let me go early tonight and if you want I can cook us up some dinner baby, I don't want you being on your feet please take a seat." Joshua said pulling a chair out for me to sit.

I did what Joshua told me to do and set down in the seat that he pulled out for me.

"How about I go pick up something to eat do you want Chinese to eat tonight for dinner?" Joshua said picking up my bread that had mayonnaise spread on it

I nod my head, "sure that sounds good I will call it in." I said picking up my phone and dialing the Chinese place.

I called the Chinese place and ordered some lo mein noodles with General's towels chicken and for Joshua I ordered, him the same thing but only instead of noodles he prefers rice.

Joshua left to go get the food while I just sit on the couch and watch TV and waited for him to get back.

10 minutes later Joshua comes in with a big bag of Chinese food that I have been craving all day.

We sat down at the table and ate our food and talk about our day.

"How was your day baby?" I said taking a bite of my chicken.

"It was okay, tiring day at work my back has started killing me." Joshua said sitting up straight.

"I'm sorry baby I hope you feel better if you want later I will rub your back for you when we go to bed." I said trying to cheer him up.

"It's okay baby and no you don't have to do all that I will be ok-"

"No no no I will rub your back you deserve a good back rub you have done plenty enough for me and don't worry about the dishes I make sure Chelsea does them." I said smiling at him.

He nods and we finish eating. After we finished eating I threw away the bag and put the left overs in the refrigerator while Joshua went up stairs to take a shower.

When I was done cleaning off the counters I turn off the kitchen light and went up stairs to my bedroom.

After Joshua was done taking a shower and put on his pjs he walked over to the bed and laid down.

"Turn over on your tummy now and don't say a word." I said starring into his blue eyes.

He turned over on his stomach and rested his head on the pillow. I pulled down the cover some and started to massage his back up and down.
