Part 30

~Summer Break~

Lewis had been under immense stress due to Red Bull's race dominance. Rosa surprised Lewis by arranging a visit to his family for the summer break. During their time there, Lewis seemed more at ease, spending quality moments with his nephews and nieces. Meanwhile, Rosa stayed in touch with Checo through FaceTime, getting glimpses of his kids.

One evening, Lewis took Rosa on a night walk. While pausing for a meal, he pulled out a ring.

"Lewis! What are you doing?" Rosa exclaimed, visibly surprised.

"No, no, it's a promise ring. I don't want to scare you, but it symbolizes my commitment—never to lie, always take care of you, and love you endlessly," Lewis explained nervously.

"Oh my god, you scared me, but... hmm." Rosa glanced around and smiled. "How about I make a promise too, though I don't have a ring?" She removed her necklace, revealing the one Lewis had given her long ago.

"You still wear that?" Lewis inquired.

"It was the first gift you gave me. Nico said you made it by hand, so it's stayed with me," Rosa said, placing the necklace in Lewis's hand.

"This will be my promise to you: to love you, forgive you, never lie, and embrace everything you love, from fashion to racing. And I'm letting you style me for race weekends from now on," Rosa declared, as Lewis placed the ring on her finger.

"We both know this will attract media attention, so let's post something," Rosa suggested.

"Yeah, I'll post a picture of your hand against the sunset and write 'Promises made and kept," Lewis suggested.

"I'll do the same," Rosa agreed, beaming. "Post one with your necklace and show off your tattoos."

"You're quite fond of my tattoos," Lewis chuckled, kissing Rosa's forehead and snapping a picture of her hand.

"And I'll always admire your body art," Rosa replied, taking pictures of Lewis with the necklaces.
